take place during the lesson to check
students understanding of where angles
are found in the world and the different
types of angles.

end of the unit to assess their
knowledge of lines and angles.

drawing, and classifying angles during the

when observing students during the
measuring and drawing activity.

LEARNING ACTIVITES:

Angles in the World (30 min)

discussion of where angles are found in the world in the pictures provided
what angles do you see?
allow students to come up to the board to show the angles and state the type

Angles in the World (Homework) (10 min)

what angles of each type did you find in the world?

Using a Protractor (15 min)

Activity (Measure the Angles) (10 min)

student will be provided with a handout from Mario World and they must
measure the angles that are indicated

Activity (Draw the Angles) (10 min)

students will be asked to draw four different angles and compare with the
person next to them
