THE EDIBLE LANDSCAPES 2017 CSA AGREEMENT

SEASONS: Our CSA is divided into 3 seasons:

Early Season - begins the week of May 29th through the week of July 15th for 7 weeks.
Main Season begins the week of July 17th through the week of Sept. 9th for 8 weeks.
Late Season begins the week of Sept. 11th through the week of Oct. 28th for 7 weeks.
SHARE SIZES and PAYMENT:

Regular Size - provides enough produce for a family of 4-6 for one week. Cost is $140.00 for
the early season, $140.00 for the late season and $160.00 for the main season. If you pay for
all three seasons, $440.00, before May 26th you will receive a $10 coupon to be used on
additional produce through-out the season.
Small Size provides enough produce for 1-2 adults for one week. Cost is $84.00 for the early
season, $84.00 for the late season and $96.00 for the main season. If you pay for all three
seasons, $264.00, before May 26th you will receive a $10 coupon to be used on additional
produce through-out the season.
We will help you determine the size of share that best fits your family situation. If cost is a
factor we suggest you start with the Small Size share and buy extra when you come to pick up
your produce or go in with another family and divide the share, this seems to work well for
some. We dont want you to have produce go to waste and will be glad to provide information
and classes on canning and freezing fruits and vegetables. Its wonderful to go to the freezer
or pantry for fruits and vegetables all winter.

HARVEST: Each share will vary from week to week due to seasonable availability and weather
conditions. We attempt to minimize damage from pests, diseases, and bad weather, but accept that
damage and low crop yields may occur out of our control. Both the farmer and the shareholder
reap the rewards and share the risks of farming. We practice organic growing and maintenance
methods. All of our produce is hand-picked and everything we sell is grown on our farm. We believe
in taking the utmost care regarding food safety and quality.

TWO WAYS TO GET YOUR SHARE:

1. MARKET CHOICE ORDER FORM: This is an emailed list of the produce that is available for
your CSA share each week. You customize your share every week on an emailed Google form,
submit the form back to us and we will fill your order. Your share will be ready for you on your
pick-up day, and you can always buy more produce when you pick up your share.
2. OUR CHOICE: We fill the order for you with a variety of produce that is available each week to
total your share size. You would be surprised when you open your share bag. You wouldnt
have to fill out any order forms, your share would be ready for you on your pick-up day, plus
you can always buy more produce when you pick up your share.

CSA AGREEMENT: The CSA subscriber agrees to pick up his/her share every week. In
the event of a vacation or youre unable to pick it up on the day assigned, you must
arrange for someone else to pick it up or contact us for other arrangements.
