Craps Rules:

Aim of Craps:

The players take it in turns being the shooter. This means that they roll the dice until the round
ends. The shooter must bet at least the table minimum on either the pass line or the dont pass.

The game is played in rounds where one person is the shooter, there are two phases to a round, the
come out roll and the point phase.

COME OUT: To start a round the shooter makes a come out roll

If the come out roll is a 7 or 11, the bets on the pass line win, and the dont pass bets lose.

If the come out roll is a 2, 3 or 12, then the round ends as the shooter is said to crap out. The pass
line bets lose and the dont pass bets win.

If the come out roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, then this number becomes the point and so the point phase
begins.

POINT: The shooter then continues to roll trying to roll a point number before he rolls a 7. If he is
successful then the pass line bets win, if he sevens out then the dont pass bets win

During the point phase:

There are many different in round bets you can make

COME BETS: This bet works only after the point has been determined. This is a bet that forms
another point, simply put its identical to betting on the pass line with the same ways to win or lose.

DONT COME BETS: Again this is identical to a dont pass bet with the same principles and ways to
win

Place Bets: This bet works only after the point has been determined. You can bet on a dice roll of 4,
5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. You win if the number you placed your bet on is rolled before a 7. Otherwise you
lose.
Field Bets: These bets are for one dice roll only. If a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12 is rolled you win. A 5, 6, 7 and
8 make you lose.

BIG 6/ BIG 8: Youre betting that a 6 or 8 is rolled before a 7.

Proposition Bets These are anytime bets and, except for hardways bets, are bets on one roll:

Any Craps: Wins if a 2, 3 or 12 is thrown.

Any Seven: Wins if a 7 is rolled.
Eleven: Wins if an 11 is thrown.
Ace Duece: Wins if a 3 is rolled.
Aces or Boxcars: Wins if a 2 or 12 is thrown.
C and E: It acts as if the bets are on 2, 3, 11 and 12 all at once. Wins if one of these numbers
is rolled. The other three numbers lose.
Hardways: A hardways bet is betting on a pair of twos (Hard 4), threes (Hard 6), fours (Hard
8) or fives (Hard 10) is thrown before a 7 or the easy way is thrown. The easy way is any
other way to get the same number.
