PresidentTrump'srecentExecutiveOrderonimmigration.

1.I'mnotfromoneofthelistedcountriesbuthaveinternationaltravelplanned.IsthereanythingI
shouldknowordo?Ifyouarenotfromoneofthelistedcountriesandyouhaveanunexpiredvisa
stamp(orifyouareCanadiananddonotrequireavisastamp),theExecutiveOrderwillnotaffect
yourabilitytotravel.IfyoudonothaveanunexpiredvisastampandplantoapplyataU.S.
EmbassyorConsulateabroad,youshouldanticipatevisaappointmentbacklogswhenscheduling
yourappointment.Inaddition,weexpectthatConsularofficerswillscreenvisaapplicantsmore
thoroughlyandwillnothesitatetoplacevisaapplicationsunderadministrativeprocessing,
particularlyiftheapplicantpossessesadegreeinanacademicfieldthatisonthegovernment's
TechnologyAlertList,includingdegreesinNuclearEngineering,ChemicalEngineering,
BiomolecularEngineering,andCybersecurity.
