PresidentTrump'srecentExecutiveOrderonimmigration.

1.I'mnotfromoneofthelistedcountriesbuthaveinternationaltravelplanned.IsthereanythingI
shouldknowordo?Ifyouarenotfromoneofthelistedcountriesandyouhaveanunexpiredvisa
stamp(orifyouareCanadiananddonotrequireavisastamp),theExecutiveOrderwillnotaffect
yourabilitytotravel.IfyoudonothaveanunexpiredvisastampandplantoapplyataU.S.
EmbassyorConsulateabroad,youshouldanticipatevisaappointmentbacklogswhenscheduling
yourappointment.Inaddition,weexpectthatConsularofficerswillscreenvisaapplicantsmore
thoroughlyandwillnothesitatetoplacevisaapplicationsunderadministrativeprocessing,
particularlyiftheapplicantpossessesadegreeinanacademicfieldthatisonthegovernment's
TechnologyAlertList,includingdegreesinNuclearEngineering,ChemicalEngineering,
BiomolecularEngineering,andCybersecurity.

 anythingIneedtobeawareofaboutreturningtotheU.S.?Similartotheabove,despiteyour
countryofbirthand/oryourcurrentcitizenship,youmustbepreparedfordelayswhenentering
intotheU.S.Pleasemakesureyouarecarryingandpresentingallofthenecessarydocuments
foradmissioninyourvisacategory.Inaddition,wearehearingreportsofCustomsandBorder
Protectionofficersaskingtosearchphonecontactsandsocialmediainformation.Pleasekeepthis
inmindasyouplanyourtravelandentertheU.S.Specifically,ifyouhaveaconnectingflightafter
yourinitialentryintotheU.S.,allowadditionaltimebetweenthoseflightstogetthroughthe

stillusetheDropBox?AlthoughwehaveheardreportsfromvariousU.S.Embassiesand

secondhighestnumberofwageandhour
caseseverfiled.
