Industry Background:

AM Auto Bricks Limited is a unit of the Abdul Monem group which was established in
the year of 2011. It is located at near of Meghna Ghat (South), Choto Raypara,
Gazaria, Munshigonj. It is producing and delivering Auto Bricks only.
Abdul Monem Limited is one of the leading diversified business conglomerate of
Bangladesh. Their fundamental promise is touching livesbuilding capabilities!
Their primary vision is to use the valuable resources in order to create value-added
products and services, which would contribute to the economic, social and
environmental progress and prosperity of Bangladesh. The honorable Managing
Director Mr. Abdul Monem had established the organization in the year 1956 and
still strongly and successfully run by him along with his two eligible sons working as
the Deputy Managing Directors (DMD) of the company, Mr. Mainuddin Monem and
Mr. Mohiuddin Monem.

Brick making is considered an ancient art. It has been used from the ancient time
and is still used enormously in modern construction in everywhere. Bricks of the
past were different than these of present time. Modern Bricks are rich in terms of
producing technology and differ in materials that are used, how and to what degree
they are fired.
For example, AM Auto Bricks use modern kilns to do the firing work. The molded
bricks are fired in a kiln or oven at high temperatures. Bricks are refined by
technology and machines are available to produce them in mass quantity in less
time. It has the leading manufacturer of quality engineered structural clay products;
it has expertise in the production of modern structural clay products.

Sourcing Material :
They collect good quality earth sourced from all over the country which
containing dissolvent salt or other harmful impurities is treated appropriately.
Environment Friendly :
Environment friendly processes are being maintained because of uses 30%
less energy than traditional brick fields, recycles heat generated in the kiln to
dry green bricks and eliminates the emission of black smoke laden with CO2
gas.
Technology :
Bricks are made by Automatic Machines by China Technology. They ensure air
space free proper Molding of clay by their fully automatic machine.
Drying system :
Green / Raw Bricks are drying in a drying chamber with strictly controls
temperature, airflow and proffer time.

Firing/Burning Element :
Best quality Coal used as Fuel from Boropukuria. Firing kiln ensures uniform
firing, preventing color variations, deformity and shrinkage etc.
Working Team :
 A professional and experienced team is being engaged for production and
delivery of the products under the leadership of a professional and
experienced Factory Manager.

1. Code of Conduct for Executives:

decisions and actions are made to the extent possible.
Perform duties as professionals with knowledge, skill, determination, and
prudence, watchful of trouble in advance; and seeking remedies for
anticipated problems; and maintaining the code of conduct, including
applying knowledge and skills to managing the company to the best of their
abilities.
Provide regular supervision and inspection, both inside the company and its
environment to ensure compliance to set policies and processes.

2. Code of Conduct for Individual Directors:

Diligently perform all duties assigned by the Board of Directors.
Perform duties honestly, carefully and for the full benefit of the Industry.
Comply with relevant laws, rules, regulations as well as ethics and good
corporate governance practices and conduct business in accordance with the
articles of the industry.
Ensure management performs achievement of Industrys objectives.

3. Code of Conduct for Company Secretary:

Supervise various activities of the Board and the Industry in compliance with
the relevant laws, rules and regulations as well as ethics and good corporate
governance practices and according to Articles of Association.
Act as a good communication center between Directors and Shareholders.
Ensure confidentiality of all inside information including minutes of meetings
of the Board and sub-committees.

4. Code of Conduct for Staff:

Perform all duties honestly, carefully and for the benefit of the Company.
Comply with relevant laws, rules, regulation and follow good ethics while
doing business and otherwise.
Maintain harmony among all co-workers and staff in the Industry.

5. Code of Conduct for Employees:

 The Industry must provide equal opportunities in employment, job security,
and career advancement, as well as follow equitable principles related to
employees and employment. Also ensure that employees are adequately
knowledgeable and skilful in performing company business, and understand
relevant code of conduct and good practices and take action for knowledge
enhancement and ability improvement leading to their development in
keeping with the trends in the industry.
