Who provides food for the

raven when its young cry

out to God and wander
about for lack of food?
For since the creation of the
world God's invisible
qualitieshis eternal power
and divine naturehave been
clearly seen, being
understood from what has
been made, so that men are
without excuse.
For although they knew God,
they neither glorified him as
God nor gave thanks to him,
but their thinking became
futile and their foolish hearts
were darkened. Although they
claimed to be wise, they
became fools
Then God said, "I give you every
seed-bearing plant on the face of the
whole earth and every tree that has
fruit with seed in it. They will be yours
for food. And to all the beasts of the
earth and all the birds of the air and
all the creatures that move on the
groundeverything that has the
breath of life in itI give every green
plant for food." And it was so.
The LORD God made garments of
skin for Adam and his wife and
clothed them.
But ask the animals, and they will
teach you, or the birds of the air,
and they will tell you; or speak to
the earth, and it will teach you, or
let the fish of the sea inform you.
Which of all these does not know
that the hand of the LORD has
done this? In his hand is the life of
every creature and the breath of
all mankind.
