Objetivo: En esta gua e-class aprenders a usar There is y There are para describir lugares;
indicando lo que hay, o no hay, en ellos. Adems, aprenders vocabulario sobre objetos y servicios
que comnmente encuentras en un hotel.

1. Vocabulary: Hotels.

a) Ve a la pgina 128 del libro, actividades 1 y 2; e identifica los objetos y servicios que
encuentras en un hotel. Lelos en voz alta.

b) Escribe el significado en Espaol de los siguientes objetos y servicios de hotel:

En Espaol, there is y there are significan solo una cosa: hay. Por lo tanto nos
ayudan a describir.

a) Diferencia entre there is y there are:

Cuando quieres indicar que en un lugar hay solo una cosa, entonces usas There is.
Por ejemplo, si quieres decir: Hay un computador. (solo un computador). Entonces
dirs: There is a computer.
Por el contrario, si quieres indicar que en un lugar hay dos o ms cosas, entonces usas
There are. Por ejemplo, si quieres decir: Hay algunos computadores (varios
computadores). Entonces dirs: There are some computers.

- There is en su forma (+), (-) e (?) va generalmente seguido por: a, an o one. Esto
debido a que hace referencia a solo 1 objeto.

- There are va generalmente seguido por: some, many, a lot of, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.

- Las formas plurales, negativa e interrogativa (There arent y Are there) van
seguidas por: any.
