International Alert Philippines works with people directly affected by conflict to find

peaceful solutions. We are looking to fill the following posts:

Communication Specialist

The Communication Specialist will ensure the full range of communications that Alert Philippines needs
to connect with its diverse audiences. The post holder will ensure consistency of tone and quality of Alert
Philippines's communications to build its profile effectively among its internal audience, the
peacebuilding sector and the general public. The post holder will develop, produce and manage content
that furthers the strategic objectives of Alert Philippines using a variety of tools and channels (online,
broadcast, print and social media).

The Specialist will also support Alert Philippines in expanding its reach among its external audiences and
in building communities of supporters for its knowledge products such as the Conflict Alert conflict
monitoring system, shadow economies, and conflict sensitive economic governance. He/she will take
the lead in media relations, in organizing and promoting events, and in ensuring that Alert Philippiness
publications and communication materials are effectively disseminated.

Communication Officer

The Communication Officer will help raise the profile of International Alert Philippines through a wide
range of communications targeted at diverse audiences. She/He is expected to help develop and
implement a communication strategy that highlights Alert Philippiness work and raises its profile among
its stakeholders and the general public; produce articles about Alert Philippines's activities and
projects; assist in media relations; help organize events such as fora and lectures; and help oversee the
production of knowledge products such as reports and communication materials such as brochures.
She/He will help administer Alert Philippiness social media accounts and maintain the Conflict Alert
website.
Campaigns Coordinator

The Campaigns Coordinator will oversee the advocacy and communications campaigns component of
Alert Philippiness work on shadow economies, youth political participation, and the peace process with
the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).
She/He will draft a campaign plan that outlines the objectives, activities, timelines and performance
metrics for each of the components of the shadow economy, youth political participation, and
MILF/NDFP peace process work strands. The Coordinator will be in charge of the execution of the
campaign plan, checking in particular, budgets, activities, timelines, and results.
