For our Compliance Department located at FUJIFILMs European Headquarters in Dsseldorf we


are looking for a

Junior Compliance Expert (m/f)

The position will report to the Corporate Compliance Coordinator.

The Corporate Compliance Department is responsible for establishing and maintaining compliance
structures and standards for the compliance areas of Anti-Corruption, Competition Law (Anti-
Trust), Data Protection, Information Security and Security Trade (Export) Control for FUJIFILM
group companies in the EMEA Region. This includes raising and maintaining employee
awareness, creation and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures, compliance
monitoring and reporting, as well as following up on potential compliance incidents. Your core
focus will be positioned in the area of Data Protection. As a member of the wider compliance group
you will have the opportunity to develop into other Corporate Compliance areas.

Your most important tasks and responsibilities:


Serve as the prime contact for Data Protection questions within the Corporate
Compliance Department.
Participate in a pan-European Data Protection improvement project in view of the
upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) introduction.
Cooperate closely with Data Protection Officers of FUJIFILM group entities in EMEA.
Organise, conduct, analyse and report on Corporate Compliance Self-Monitoring
exercises.
Develop and support corporate compliance related training projects (e-learning and
face-to-face classroom training) and conduct trainings.
Central coordination of inquiries regarding Learning Management Platform for our
Corporate Compliance eLearning tool.
Cooperate closely with European Legal Department, European HR and other
compliance related functions of the organisation.
Keep up to date with changes in Corporate Compliance relevant legislation and initiate
required changes within the organisation.
Provide back-up support in case of absence within department

What we expect from you:


Relevant university degree e.g. in law, finance, accounting, management or similar and
relevant add-on education
Interest in compliance matters
Up to 3 years work experience
Ability to think in processes
Cross cultural awareness
Ideally project management experience
Excellent communication skills in English both oral and in writing, other language skills
are a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications and Data Base applications
