After returning from a five-year sabbatical from music in 2015 with the intimate collection Campfires On The Moon, Vancouver
singer/songwriter, poet and playwright Rodney DeCroos musical evolution continues with his seventh full-length album, Old
Tenement Man, a sprawling work of unflinching roots-based rock and roll, infused with the legacies of Lou Reed and Leonard Cohen.
Teaming up with producer by Lorrie Matheson (Art Bergmann, Rae Spoon) at his Calgary studio Arch Audio, DeCroo struck the
perfect sonic balance through which to display the full range of his poetic gifts and a renewed commitment to reaching more ears.
The new album continues DeCroos intense output since 2010, which saw him produce an acclaimed poetry collectionand
accompanying spoken word albumdrawn from his childhood in Western Pennsylvania. He also mounted a one-man theatre show
that toured western Canada, all of which was an outgrowth of extensive therapy to cope with addiction and Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder.
Old Tenement Man is an album that finally places him in the upper echelon of Canadian singer/songwriters. It is an album that

Metamorphosis - the third album released from Circle of Dust - Kentucky's finest are back with their third album, the first for
was a rare gem among Klayton's early discography that has Ripple Music and it doesn't get much better than this. Well, John
been shrouded in confusion and mystery. A pseudo-compilation Garcia(ex-Kyuss) guests on vocals which is pretty cool to say the
album featuring remixes from Circle of Dust (self-titled) and least.

the remixes found on Metamorphosis, three original tracks from

space shuttle launch to the outer planets in the company of
Steve Reich and Terry Riley, then deposits us on the set of a
spaghetti western version of 2001-esque "Flow My Tears, The
Android Wept" where a lonesome computer sings a 17th century
ballad to a flamenco dub accompaniment. The mood remains
ambient as an English pastoral landscape merges with
Himalayan melodies in"White Man's Burden" until submitting to
the relentless march of progress and percussion.
