Atabout10:32AMPDTonthemorningofMarch30,2017,aweakEF0tornadotoucheddownonthe
southwestsideofMonroeinSnohomishCounty,Washington.Damagesurveyresultsconcludethe
damagetobeconsistentwithatornadoofEF0intensity,producedbywindsestimatedat75MPH.
Damageconsistedoftreedamage,andmoderatetosignificantdamagetoaseveralrecreational
vehiclesinacommercialRVlot.TwoRVswereknockedover,andoneoftheRecreationalVehicleswas
tippedontoitssideandcrushedacarparkedbesideit.SeveralRVsinalotacrossthestreetwere
forcefullypushedbythetornadoswindsandpushedordraggedanywherefromonetofivefeetfrom
theiroriginallocations.InadditiontotheRVandtreedamage,anadjacenthomeexperiencedminor
shingledamage.TwofencepanelswerealsoblowndownontheperimeteroftheRVdealership.Smaller
branchdebriswasblown200300feetawayfromthesmallwoodedarea.Treebranchesweresnapped
andblowninopposingdirectionsandRVdragmarksindicatedthatitwasnotastraightlinewindthat
movedthem,andshowedevidenceofatwistingwindpattern.AsurveillancevideofromtheRV
dealershipcapturedfootageofthetornadospassage,andthecombinationofthevideoevidenceand
damagesurveyconfirmtheeventwasaweak

TreeDamageinasmallwoodedareaonthewestsideofthestreetinbetweenthetwoRV
areas.Severallargebranchesof34inchesindiameterweresnappedanddamagepatterndid
notindicateastraightlinemovementofdamagewhenviewedasawhole.

RVdamageoneastsideofstreettwoRVsweretippedover.Theywereimmediatelyadjacent
toeachother.ThesmallerRVimpactedthesideofthelargerRV.ThelargerRVfelloverand
crushedasmallcarparkednexttoit.ThewindowofthelargerRVwasbrokenout,however
nothingimmediatelywasvisiblethatwouldhavebrokenit.ImpactmarksshowtheRVhitthe
groundandwaspushedseveralfeetafterimpact.Thisdamagealonewasnotconclusivetoa
tornadoastheRVcouldhavecaughtastronggustofwindalongitsside.Howeverwiththefull
storythroughthevideoandthe
otherdamage,thedamageis
concludedtobetornadic.

RVDamageonwestsideofstreet.AsignificantnumberofRVsonthissideofthestreetshowed
evidenceofbeingmovedseveralfeetduetowind.Thedragmarksinthemudandgravelvery
wellillustratedhowfarandwhatdirectiontheyweremovedfrom.Theydidnotallgetpushed
inastraightline.Therewasevidenceofmultipledirectionsforwinds,supportingthevideo
evidenceandtreedamagenoted.
