The length of the abstract is limited to 1 page, including figures and references. You should
describe topic in brief, and in a way to allow a general audience to follow. A list of bullet
points with the headers of your power point slides is not an abstract. You must write complete
sentences and paragraphs. Make sure you use spell and grammar checkers. It does not look
professional to submit an abstract full of mistakes.
When it comes to presenting your work you will be allocated 20 minutes in total for your
presentation, 15 minutes for the presentation itself and the remainder for questions. A 15
minute presentation should usually consist of 12-15 slides. The 20 minute time limit will be
strictly enforced.
