Interview w/ Dr. Gerhard Wotawa, CTBTO radionuclide unit &

head of ZAMG (Austria) forecast models (emphasis added):
['Low levels' of radioactivity from Fukushima] can of course
spread over all the areas of the world. But it will not pose any
significant health risks beyond the immediate areas of the
reactors, and some hundreds of kilometers to a few thousands
of kilometers Rain would release the radiation from the
atmosphere and will directly put it on the ground. Very long-
lived radionuclides like the cesium will stay around there 20, 30,
40, and more years, and could affect agriculture The
radionuclides can be easily washed out of the atmosphere and
in the pathway from Japan to the Pacific Ocean, and across the
Pacific Ocean supposedly there will be precipitation of the rain
and most of the particles will be removed by the rain We
assume that theres a lot of radioactivity now coming into the
water from the plant In reality there may be some health effects,
but it depends very much on the level of radioactivity that comes
out of the atmosphere. >> More from Wotawa: Fallout in

So much for eating healthy. I've enjoyed organic gardening for years. Much of the enjoyment is
gone now though I will not give it up. Same for hunting deer although that I may give up.
Venison is still far healthier than any meat from the supermarket.
Camped out in beautiful fall colors over the weekend, very rejuvinating.

So the atmosphere will be mostly fine because ''most of the particles will be removed by the
rain''
And the land will be mostly fine (except where it rained) and it will recover after a long time
because radionuclides decay.
And the ocean will be mostly fine, with some ''health effects'' but these won't be too bad as long
as there's not too much rain.
This sounds like the problem is that too much radiation has been released into the environment
where it will remain for a very, very long time so it won't really be fine anywhere.

Picocuries to becquerels is probably a worthwhile conversion:
http://www.unitconversion.org/radiation-activity/becquerels-to-picocuries-conversion.html
So the two radioactive cesium isotopes are 19 becquerels per kg.
Doesn't seem like much radiation for March 2011 in San Luis Obisbo but consider that city is
5200 miles from Fukushima. But if you ate that salad a lot then bioaccumulation becomes a
factor.

Yes. SP. I like the conversion tool. I tried the free download. It is not really helpful. The
helpful one would require purchase. Still, they do allow online calculations. I like that. I find
it always quizzical when we get proof from the "scientists" and "experts" on radiation
matters we here at ENENEWS determined beyond reasonable doubt ourselves years ago.
It comes to mind that we must double our efforts to protect ourselves from the radiation
onslaught. The Combating Radiation Forum becomes more important each day. I am
taking so many vitamins, minerals, and herbs, that I don't have to eat food anymore. Just
Kidding! If we want to survive, we have to take the measures afforded us. Mostly, our
safety comes through understanding. We must continue to get the word out too. It blows
my mind that in America we get the truth about the radiation dangers we are facing from
Russia Today. peace

United States and Japan Streamline Organic Trade across the Pacific
http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usda/usdahome?contentid=2013/09/0190.xml
United States and Japan today sign organic equivalence arrangement.
Marks first U.S. organic arrangement in Asia, and first-ever without organic standards
exceptions.
http://www.organicnewsroom.com/2013/09/united_states_and_japan_today.html
Without an equivalency arrangement in place, organic farmers and businesses wanting to sell
products in either country had to obtain separate certifications to meet each country's organic
standards. This typically has meant two sets of fees, inspections, and paperwork. Similar to
previous U.S. equivalency arrangements with Canada and the European Union, this trade
partnership with Japan eliminates significant barriers, especially for small and medium-sized
organic producers.
You can thank Hillary Clinton for this.

The governments of the United States and Canada are not conducting tests for radioactivity at
least not to the knowledge of the public. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has agreed to
continue purchasing seafood from Japan, despite the fact that the food is not being tested for
radioactive contamination. Last November, independent testing in Japan showed 65 per cent of
the catches tested positive for cesium (a radioactive material). Instead of refusing to purchase
the poisoned fish, food safety agencies in both the United States and Canada have simply
raised the acceptable level of radiation. We cant go offending the Japanese after promising to
buy their tainted goods, now can we?

2 issues
1) For cryingout loud, can't you bastard all use the metric system mSv. I knowits a
"valuable" way to confuse people who havent studied radiation in a college setting.
2) How can you bastards that be even talk about levels in soil without directly and clearly
addressing the chance of that becoming internal? Though food or water. make it clear.if it
hits this level, you can never grow your own food again. Of course then we could sue the
"provider" of the radiation for lost value of land.
3) Indeed all this shite is loaded with "weasal words" which a typically marxist method to

will help and hurt various parties.

"According to the models worst case scenario, which assumes no change in the
trajectory of the epidemic and also corrects for underreporting, the number of
Ebola cases in Liberia and Sierra Leone together could reach 1.4 million by the
end of January 2015. This translates into a whopping 14% cumulative prevalence
rate. To put this in perspective, an equivalent rate in the U.S. population would be
almost 45 million people nationally, and more than 90,000 in Washington, DC
alone."
"Ebola had, as of mid-September, already become the leading cause of death in

Just one more avenue.
War and famine would not do. Instead, disease offered the most efficient and
fastest way to kill the billions that must soon die if the population crisis is to
be solved. AIDS is not an efficient killer because it is too slow. My favorite
candidate for eliminating 90 percent of the worlds population is airborne
Ebola (Ebola Reston), because it is both highly lethal and it kills in days,
instead of years. Weve got airborne diseases with 90 percent mortality in
humans. Killing humans. Think about that. You know, the bird flus good, too.

Wasn't the food in Chernobyl over the epa's suggested contamination limit?
Meaning that this food either meets or exceeds the contamination limit of Chernobyls
Contamination limit?
Meaning that the lettuce here on the usa west coast 5000km out is technically just as
contaminated as lettuce growing in Russia's Chernobyl incident (only a 1 km distance).
And if radiation Is equal to that amount (here on the west coast). Wouldn't it be higher in Florida

One more thing. Looks to me after doing so much homework on Chernobyl, that it was
actually UP played and figures published in basically actual amounts. It was to hide
behind anything WORSE happening, and I still maintain Chernobyl was in actuality a
small event. About the same impact as Rocketdyne. So Chernobyl on it's own could
have debunked the atmospheric Barium theory if there wasn't so much in the air
already. The one thing they did not bet on was the R3 detonation. Now Chernobyl's fly
is unzipped, and the change soon to happen is on top of so much added and dumped
materials in the air/water already to change QED on webcam diffraction grids will begin

Unlike many here who attempt to discern the voodoo behind published numbers, whatever the
reference (BQ, curies, seiverts, etc.) I don't bother nor worry as I feel those are just general
information. I don't particularly feel such 'clues' tell much about an individual's personal load
from such results of these studies, especially at anything less that gross dose-rate. To me, it's
like seeing a dead mouse beside a pile of rat poison. Surely, the rat died from the poison, but
just how much did they eat? What did the general health of the mouse contribute to the poison's
actions?
I admit that I'm a not schooled in scientific disciplines, but I have proven that I can be intensely
rational, even if I've given much to the imaginative side of my personality. When one looks at
the placement of monitoring stations along with all the factors involved in ascertaining the
information given by these stations (handling of the physical evidence, reliability of equipment,
etc.) it's fairly obvious they can be no more than general indicators. Useful, but useless to an
individual who doesn't live intimately with the apparatus 24/7. It's like hearing a weather report
saying it's raining in your area while you personally may be bone dry and see nary a drop.
Besides, too many circumstances contribute to general load. I worked out in the rain all through
2011 and 2012 here in the PNW. What if one was in the rain, but also smoked cigarettes, their
hands to their mouths and lips

One could compile a great list of factors that might contribute to personal loads that are
much greater or much less than a monitoring station just up the street. Those monitoring
stations say little about an individual's physical reaction to those personal loads. Read
Bobby1's blog sometimeThese arguments are useless and distracting that one finds over
300 comments to a post about workers at the site of which maybe 1/3 (and I'm being
generous at that) are on topic. Do what you will; that's just my take on the situation.
Personally, I have a view of my world that is based in resonances and harmonics, of which
monitors say nothing. Monitors and their numbers speak little of the interactions that are
our life in which science by its very definition is a bit lost for definite causal values.

Yes. Shaker. Good point. I want to learn all I can about the dangers of radiation, and
the ways to protect myself and others. IMHO, survival will require that somewhere
along the way, before all is said and done, Science and Religion/Spirituality will
discover each other; to each other's mutual benefit. peace

Do the math.
If lettuce tested "hot" then much of the continental USA received similar amounts (I know the
deposition is sporadic and spotty, but overall not good!) and therefore much of our food and
water supply has levels of toxins that were not there before FD-NPP went awol.
Are we just supposed to ignore this fact?
Are we to be fission-washed into believing nuclear reactors that go ex-containment are not that
big a deal?
No f'ing way.
I recommend we all hug our dear ones dearly. Life as you knew it is over.
Expect more mysteries like:
http://denver.cbslocal.com/2014/09/27/illness-causing-paralysis-in-colorado-children-a-mystery-
so-far/
I can't begin to fathom what might be going on, but my suspicion (and totally a wild guess and
not meant to discredit this site!) is that maybe the uranium from FD-NPP has daughtered down
into lead and is causing neurological complications in organisms.

Immediately after Chernobyl went ex-containment and the hot graphite fire burned a chemistry
professor of mine warned us all not to eat leafy greens for awhile.
I remember at the time being perplexed that enough fallout would hit Washington State (where I
was at the time) to be concerned about.
He was not being an alarmist, just giving us a heads up.
We know that Chernobyl was a nightmare ONLY after a monitoring station in (I think Sweden)
set alarms buzzing.
How is it that we are so lulled into complacency re FD-NPP?

Nick The Uranium to Lead cascade has a half life of 704 million years. Too soon for lead
problems.

One way or another the fallout will recycle during its lifespan(s).
Why are they telling us more than 3 years later that crops were dusted with Daiichi fallout?
Sludge reports from local sewer agencies would have recorded how much fallout entered their
processing plants. Can't get much more detailed than that.
Fallout is pretty much hit and miss until it is disbursed enough to raise the background levels.
Which already has been done. Instead of lessening fallout to contend with from nuke bomb
testing days, we now have more fallout to deal with thanks to Daiichi.
FactChecker will confirm how dangerous low level radiation is to fetuses, babies and children
when external exposure is converted to internal uptake. To start with, children are 10-20 times
more sensitive to low level radiation than adults.

No product source is stated on the Gerber Baby food in the stores. Better start alerting new
moms to start making their own food like my mom did years ago there was no commercial
baby food back then. Also milk and formula where is it made where is the milk source from.
If from California or anywhere on the west coast the cows are eating their way through fields
containing contamination which is going into the milk and the cheese. What about the new calf's
born after 3/11 what has the mortality rate been? Anyone keeping records on still born calf's.
