Solo 72km Hurricane and Relay 72km Fun Run in the Sun

Wadi Bih is famous for two


things: a relatively easy Solo 72km
run and a Fun Team 72km Relay on
the first weekend in February. This
year I doubled up, running Fridays
Solo 72km and Saturdays Team
72km Relay. Why? Harry, my boss,
promised hed run the Solo 72km
when I did the Bahrain Ironman
70.3, so I had to run with him. I
also promised my running buddy,
Ramzi, that Id run the 72km relay

The Weather

I was brought up to travel and explore and

parents would take me out of school to
travel with them (within reason) and I was in-
troduced to so many different activities out-

they feel encouraged to try these things as

did it but it is so remote that I have never
felt so attached to my GPS before!
