I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson students:
A. Identify the main parts of the computer
B. Identify the steps for staring a computer
C. Describe the importance of the computers in todays world.
II. SUBJECT MATTER:
A. TOPIC: introduction to Personal Computer
B. REFERENCE: Internet, Wiki
C. TIME ALLOTMENT: 1 hour
D. MATERIALS: Handouts, PowerPoint, Manila paper, Pilot pen
III. PROCEDURE:
A. MOTIVATION:
Ask the students about the previous topic being discuss.
1. What is computer?
2. How important is the computer in your life?
B. ACTIVITY:
Draw the main parts of the computer and label it.
Group the students into 5 groups and assign a leader and secretary
and a reporter.
1st group to finish 5 stars
2nd group to finish 4 stars
3rd group to finish 3 stars
4th group to finish 2 stars
5th group to finish 1 star
C. ANALYSIS:
Discussion lesson proper.
1. Explain the importance of computer in:
a. Business and industry
b. In government organization
c. In education
d. In field of medicine
2. What are the input and output devices?
D. ABSTRACTION:
1. What have you learn?
2. How important is computer in your life?
