SECTION 10 2 BPD
6 Submission of Report 13 - 14
1. Students are required to form their own groups comprises of 6 to 7 members only.
2. Each group need to set up its own structure including the leader, secretary and positions of all members
3. Each group need to choose any one of the three options given for the projects/activities that they can
organize.
4. The projects/activities have to be approved by the supervisor/lecture
5. The groups need to abide by the guideline for each project/activity
6. The groups have to provide their own materials, equipment and other necessities for their business
projects/activities
7. The groups are not allowed to sublet their projects/activities to other parties. They however can get any
advices from other parties.
8. The groups need to submit final reports of the projects/activities according to any format given by the
supervisors

OPTION 1: ENTREPRENEURIAL EXPLORATION PROJECT
Scope
This project/activity aims to provide student a better understanding of the theoretical foundations
of entrepreneurship and personally experience what it takes to become an entrepreneur by
developing and implementing a simple business idea.
Project deliverables
The group need to choose one viable business idea (products or services).
For products they can choose and sell either through online or offline. The products can be their
own products or products that are available in the market.
For the service business they can choose simple services that can be done in the university or any
area close to the university
The group independently need to gain some income by selling products or services throughout
the module from week 7 to week 12.
They need to write and present a final report using the given format which cover all activity that
they have done.
OPTION 2: ENTREPRENEURIAL IMMERSION THROUGH CASE STUDY
Scope
This project/activity aims to expose student a real business through case study method.
Throughout the process they will learn about entrepreneurial venture, running a sustainable
business including challenges and achievements.
This real examples will help students gain deeper understanding of sustainable business
entrepreneurship and how it can be put in place.
Project deliverables
In this project/activity the groups have to choose any two successful Small and Medium
companies (SMEs) in Malaysia.
The group need to collect as much as possible information about the companies (such as
background of the companies, product, marketing, business, performance and others).
The information can be collected thru documents reviews, personal interviews with the owners,
observation, etc.
They need to analyses the companies (comparative analyses) using SWOT analysis and Business
Canvass Model (BMC) and propose any relevant business intervention to enhance the
performance of the companies
They need to write and present a final a report using the given format.
OPTION 3: ENTREPRENEURSHIP CARNIVAL/EXPO/SMALL BUSINESS
PROJECT
Scope
In this project the emphasis is given on the startup stage of a simple business
Students will get better understanding of the theoretical foundations of entrepreneurship and
personally experience what it takes to become an entrepreneur by developing and running a
simple business idea.
Project deliverables
The university will organize entrepreneurship carnival/expo that will involve the groups of
students. The carnival/expo can be held in or outside of the university.
The university is also free to decide the length of carnival/expo and it is advised that the
length should be between 2 to 5 days.
The groups need to choose one viable business idea (products or services)
The groups are required to sell their products or services during the entrepreneurship
carnival/expo.
The groups are required to plan their projects/activities independently. Including selecting the
products, operations and marketing strategy.
The groups will need to write a final a report using the given format.
Presentation is their entrepreneurial activities done during the carnival.
