King Jr. made a huge impact on the civil rights movement because he was

He was also a minister, a Baptist, and he was the first president of the
sanitation worker strike. These are just three of his many accomplishments.

would have equal rights and he was willing to fight for that and he wouldn't
give up. Many people today remember Martin Luther King Jr. as a man who
changed the civil rights movement and helped remind our country of the
equality we should have. Martin was a hero in a way and he will be greatly
remembered.
