In April 1994 Johann Olav Koss og Atle Vrvik

initiated the calendar project Norwegian Top
Athletes against Drugs. Their efforts and
enthusiasm laid the foundation of what should
become MOT.

22nd February 1997, during the Nordic Ski World

Championship in Trondheim, Norway; MOTs big
bang. MOTs founders Atle Vrvik, Johann Olav Koss,
Rune Bratseth and Dag Otto Lauritzen

MOT founded in 1997:

o Idealistic foundation non profit, religiously and
politically independent
o 2 employees and 30 MOT-coaches

MOT 19 years:
o Five countries
o 85 000 youth
o The four founders are still active in MOT
