Immigration- a topic that has been an ongoing discussion in the news, a topic that has

caused a lot of families a lot of fear. Immigrants now fear that they might be sent back to their

country, because of our ignorant president beliefs, (by the way, there should be a law that in

order to president, one has to have a political background). Doesnt Trump know that more than

half of the US are made of immigrants, that the reason they came to America was for more

opportunities, even though some of them came illegally, at least they are trying to become

citizens, the process is not that easy. Latinos and Asians compromise a significant amount of the

immigration community, so if the president really sent them all back, thats when I would truly

know he doesnt have a heart.

Legalized and naturalized of undocumented immigrants would bolster their wages, while

immigration reform would cause the earnings to increase for all Americans. Immigration reform

has to trace the way for undocumented immigrants to become naturalized. Also, allowing

citizenship would create jobs and increase tax incomes. The U.S even spends more money on

immigration and border enforcement annually than the annual GDP, gross domestic product. I

just find it really funny how Trump wants to send these people back, that can overall better the

US economy, that shows how much how inexperienced he is, shame just a shame.

Now the undocumented population is dropping, people from Mexico, which is the

largest source of where low skilled immigrants workers come from are now leaving the U.S.

because Trumps deportation orders. Can we also bring up his orders banning those seven

countries from entering the U.S because of terrorism? Hes basically stereotyping all Muslims,

assuming that all of them are terrorists, which again goes to his political inexperience. Hes

causing about 1060 people to deport a year. The companies that hire a lot of low skilled workers

are now going to face shortage of labor because majority of the workers are immigrants, it once

again shows how Trump is very narcissistic, only thinks about himself, and what he thinks is

good for the country vs what is actually good for the country. I wonder if its possible if he can

take a class that will at least teach him some of the basics of politics even that might give him a

little bit of information about how to handle the country.

When this whole immigration situation was the number one discussion on every news

show, people decided to compare former President Obama, immigration policy, ugh, I hate say

that :( with Trumps. And Trump, tried to make Obama look bad, by saying, My policy is

similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six

months. The seven countries named in the Executive Order are the same countries previously

identified by the Obama administration as sources of terror. Now let me set the record straight,

Obama only deported people that he knew was going to be a problems to the U.S, he didnt

send people back for no reason, so dont get it twisted now. He actually wanted undocumented

immigrants to become citizens, he created programs that would help people that came to the U.S

as children with their parents, but Congress and Supreme Court were not in favor and denied it.

Congress believed that undocumented immigrants had to go through background checks, fines,

plus a waiting period, or else they will have to be deported, while Obama wanted to delay

deportation, he wanted to sort of allow undocumented workers to have some temporary legal

status in the US so they can work and study here avoiding, at the time, the long process of

becoming citizen. That is difference between Trump and Obamas immigration policy.

As I conclude my little research piece about immigration, and if you didnt notice, my

little rant about how much I dislike Trump, I just want to say that no one should be forced out of

our country, or banned from it. People come here to begin a new life, a new journey. Just think

about privileged we, Americans are, we have opportunities that others dont have, and all they

want to do is just experience those same opportunities. One last thing I want you to think about,

the immigrants that have come illegally, it shows their dedication, and their inner desire to

achieve their goals, some of them knew that if they went through the naturalization process, it

would take months or even years to be finalized as a citizen, causing them to put a hold on their

plans and goals. Well anyway, I hope I educated you in some way of whats happening in the

world with our President, by the way, Im going need to him to slow down a little bit, because

hes only been president for three months, and already stating that we might have another World

War.
