Re: Poll Results in Georgias 6th Congressional District

Democrat Jon Ossoff narrowly leads Republican Karen Handel (48% Ossoff /
47% Handel) in the race to replace Tom Price in Georgias 6th Congressional
District. Importantly, the 5% of undecided voters trend disproportionately female,
in communities of color, and in DeKalb County all of which are voter subgroups
among whom Ossoff leads Handel.

Ossoff voters are much more likely to feel that this race is more important than
most elections (57%) than are Handel voters (36%), denoting a decided
enthusiasm advantage for Ossoff.

Despite anti-Ossoff forces outspending the Ossoff campaign by $4M in television

ads during the primary campaign, Ossoff is more popular than Handel and has
important advantages in being seen as more independent than Handel and
more likely to share voters values.

The poll was conducted by Anzalone Liszt Grove Research on April 23-26, 2017 among N=590 likely June run-off voters. The
survey is subject to a margin of error of 4.0 percentage points.
Districtwide popularity:
o Ossoff 50% Favorable / 44% Unfavorable (+6 Favorable)
