This list summarizes sampling results for lead and copper in drinking water at schools and early education & childcare facilities (EECFs) that have been reported to MassDEP
through its electronic data reporting system (eDEP). It is sorted alphabetically by town. It includes schools and EECFs that have sampled fixtures as part of the Commonwealths
Assistance Program for Lead in School Drinking Water, as well as other sampling conducted at schools via other efforts. These results may not reflect all samples taken at each
school or early education & childcare facility (EECF) because the laboratory may not have completed their work and/or the school may collect additional samples. Check back
for updates that cover any additional results. A school's status may change as additional results are to reported to MassDEP. As this is a summary of all results, if a school or
EECF at any time detects lead and/or copper above the action level the results column will indicate "... Above the Action Level" regardless of follow-up sampling below the
action level. For a more accurate and current status of lead and copper sampling at schools and EECF refer to the detailed fixture-by-fixture spreadsheet at
http://www.mass.gov/eea/agencies/massdep/water/drinking/lead-and-copper-in-school-drinking-water-sampling-results.html. Data is made available to the public two weeks
after sampling results are submitted to MassDEP through eDEP. This allows schools and EECFs time to post all remediation actions taken at fixtures with lead and/or copper
action level exceedances in the Lead and Copper Reporting Tool. This list will be updated on a weekly basis.
