The Ethics Committee convened on Monday, May1, to review a
complaint from a Hudson property owner. The committee found
sufficient evidence of an act by Marilyn McGrath that was in
violation of Hudson town code 53-4.10.
The complaint was brought by property owner Steve Trefethen,
who completed the Petitioner Information form which the
committee reviewed, and as their minutes indicate they watched
the tape of the April 11 Selectmens meeting where the situation
occurred.
The committee voted unanimously to hold a public hearing
on May 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the study conference room of the
Rodgers Memorial Library. The approved motion recommended
that Selectwoman Marilyn McGrath recuse herself from any and
all boards and committees that interact with the public until the
complaint can be discussed in a public forum.
This photo of swans was taken April 23 at Robinson Pond, Hudson. All parties will be informed by registered mail. Marilyn McGrath
