DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAUDI CONSULTING SERVICES (SAUD CONSULT), Saudi Arabia:
Arrange and Preside Project Progress Meetings at site at regular intervals
during construction in order to coordinate progress of the works and
prepare an agenda for each meeting. Prepare and distribute Minutes of
Meeting.
Supervision and Inspection of Civil, Structural RCC works, all kinds of
Architectural finishing works, Asphalt concrete pavement works and
Road works.
Provide day to day work directions as required for the inspection of new
or existing facilities.
Inspection of all kinds of Steel Reinforcement installations, Masonry
installations, and Roofing installations, all aspects of Concrete
Placement works, earth & asphalt works.
Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports
Monitor and implement quality control program, ensure conformity with
required standards and codes, review and revise standards and QC
programs, in depth design review, prepare inspection reports and None
Compliance Reports.
Supervision of Field Inspection Staff, contract administration and
Quality Monitoring, Analysis and Reports writing,
Review calculation of quantities and certification of Payment
Certificates submitted by the contractors.
Monitor, inspect, audit and guide construction activities performed by the
contractors in order to achieve a safe, healthy, environmentally friendly,
timely and within budget realization of the project.
Initiate, coordinate and participate in constructability reviews, technical
issues between various disciplines and other departments.
Ensure that construction is performed in accordance with the project
specifications and/or approved project shop drawings and contractual
requirements.
Provide Technical advice and input on construction issues to other
groups and disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Procurement,
Commissioning and Operations.
Identification and Certification of Submittals submitted by the
Contractors.
Review and release of project Shop Drawings prepared and submitted
by the Contractors.
To verify and monitor the Site Construction Activities to assure
performance in accordance with requirements of Contract Documents
and Project Specifications and to administer special testing &
inspections of suspect works. Coordinate field engineering issues
between the various disciplines.
Carrying out inspections of the installation of mechanical, plumbing and
electrical systems.

 To ensure that the Contractor shall follow all Quality Control procedures as
introduced by me as project requirements and to submit the Consultant
Site Engineers all the necessary documents through proper forms viz.,
RFI (Request For Inspection), RFMI (Request For Material Inspection),
Request For Mock-Up Inspection, CPR (Concrete Pouring Request),
Concrete Pouring Observation Report, Daily Construction Report, Work
Report by Contractors Surveyor and to properly maintain site survey log
etc.,
To verify and monitor the duties of Independent Testing Laboratory to
provide an adequate and acceptable plant and calibrated equipment to
perform the required testing services, and to verify that tests are made in
accordance with specific standards, and to recommend and administer
any required retesting.
To ensure and follow up contractor to submit properly As Built
drawings, Project Close Out requirements, to submit guarantees,
bonds, services & maintenance contracts as specified in respective
sections of specifications.
Monitor and ensure adherence to the QA/QC system for the construction
team, including proper handling and maintaining of QA/QC
documentation.
Coordination and control of all phases of project development and
coordinate the work of all site operations.

Review contractors payment requests and issue payment certificates.

Review As Built drawings and O & M Manuals.
Review contractors change order proposals, claims, Request for
Clarifications etc., and prepare recommendations to the client.
Preparation of Punch lists and review the adequacy and accuracy of
punch lists.
Review the final inspection of the work and Monitor final completion of
the work.
Perform within the confines of the consultancy agreement, all other
professional services as requested by the client/owner/end
user/steering committee.

Al - Yamama Company, Dammam, Saudi Arabia:

Preparation of Estimates, Material Submittals and Take-Offs, Complete
preparation of Quantity statements, Purchase Orders, Procurement of
materials and self checking of all required site material deliverables.
