STATEMENT OF FACTS

The United States and the defendant, JULIO PEREZ-TORRES, agree that on or about

February 2016, the defendant used a facility or means of interstate commerce, specifically the

internet, to attempt to knowingly persuaded, induce, entice, and coerce an individual who has not

attained the age of 18 years to engage in sexual activity for which any person can be charged

with a criminal offense. The United States and the defendant further agree that the following is

true and, had this matter proceeded to trial, the United States would have proven the following

facts beyond a reasonable doubt through admissible and credible evidence and testimony:

1. In or about February 2016, the defendant posted an advertisement on an Intemet

website. That advertisement was titled "taboo perv - m4m (DC)" with the subject line, "25yo

here into pervy no limits yng any with exp or alls pervy hit me up. Love to meet and swap

stories, fantasies and better if you have vids/access/perv friends."' The advertisement statedthe

poster's age was twenty-five years old and lived in or near the District of Columbia.
