patronsofthemallwereencouragedtodonatefooditemsforthelocal
foodpantry.

ThisisayearlongprojecttheDuBoisAreaMiddleSchoolisstartingfor
theDuBoisAreaSchoolDistrict.Wearecollectingfoodandmonetary
donationsfromstudents,staffandthecommunitytoprovidefoodfor
anystudentwhoisinfoodcrisis.Itisthegoalofthisserviceprojectto
extendthisprogramtotheentiredistrictandprovideenoughfoodto
feedourstudentsandtheirfamiliesincrisiswhentheschoolisnotin
operation.ThisissimilartotheNationalBackpackProgram
implementedbyschooldistrictsacrossthenation.
