“Draft Golf Course - Pine Centre Neighbourhood Plan Request for Comment and Open House”

Prince George, BC- The City of Prince George has engaged McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd. and
Site 360 Consulting Inc. to complete a neighbourhood plan for the land located Southwest of the
intersection of Highways 16 and 97. This plan area includes portions of Pine Centre Mall, Prince George
Golf & Curling Club, Roll-A-Dome, Prince George Playhouse, and Pine Valley Golf Course.

The intent of this plan is to provide certainty to the general community, land owners, and developers
respecting the appropriate land use and development of this key property while remaining sensitive to
downtown redevelopment, maintaining green space, considering commercial development and
contextually relevant to the surrounding neighbourhood form and character.

The community is invited to provide comments on this draft plan and to attend a Public Open House. City
representatives will be in attendance to receive comments/concerns/suggestions and to provide further
information on the draft plan. Information Boards relating to the Draft Neighbourhood Plan’s land use
layout will also be available for public viewing.
