5.3 Reaction due to Live Load cases
The live load cases are considered from IRC-6:2010 , Table 2.Live load moves over line model in MIDAS
with corresponding eccentric moment for respective axle positions. For 70 R loading the reactions
transferred from the line model over the bearings are considered whereas for load cases 70R+classA and 2
lanes of classA, reactions from individual load cases with respective eccentric moments are added to get
final moments.
