Jane Doe (J) who works in education field. She is not a novice teacher as she had
three years working experience. She currently pursuing her Master in education
and willing to participate in this interview on her own.

I: OK, before we begin the interview itself, Id like to confirm that you have

given your consent and that you understand that your participation in this

study is entirely voluntary, that you may refuse to answer any questions,

and that you may withdraw from the study at any time.

J: Yes, I understand it, thank you.

I: Do you have questions before we proceed?

J: No.

I: First of all, what do you like best about jigsaw reading?

J: Err..jigsaw reminds me of jigsaw puzzle. It means fill up the puzzle but

using it as a reading technique. It interesting in the same time it involved

cooperation. I believe in collaboration or teamwork.


I: What do you like least about jigsaw reading?

J: Well honestly. I cant think of one. Owh wait! If one of our team members

absent, that surell be troublesome.

I: Next,what makes SLA reading articles easy or difficult for you?

J: Well for me... I sometimes stumble on the terms or jargon in the articles .

Thus , further reading or using Google definitely will help. It can be difficult

sometimes however as I said I really depend on Google.

I: Does working in a cooperative learning team help get you involved in your

learning? If so, why do you think that is?

J: Yes, I strongly believe that cooperative learning really help me. As you are

reading it in group so if you missed a point or need clarification. You can

discuss it within your groups. It works wonder!

I: What do you think about working in cooperative learning groups?

J: Im loving it! It is a good strategy indeed.

I: What do you like about cooperative learning groups?

J: Err that we work together.

I: What do you dislike about cooperative learning groups?

J: Nothing much.

I: Why is it important to work together on a cooperative learning team?

J: It just a brilliant strategy and it can be applicable for all ages.

I: What would help you work better as a team?

J: Thank God for the WhatsApp group. It really ease on my burden.


I: What could your teacher do to help you work better as a team?

J: Provide more easier articles (laughing)

I: How does the cooperative learning team help you learn SLA?

J: I can get new insights or different perspective once I finish discussed with

my groups

I: Is there anything else I should know about you to better understand your

cooperative learning experiences or your general SLA experience?

J: As I said, im juggling work with studies. Thus, this really helps to ease me

especially for my hectic life.

I: Is there anything else that you would like to add?

J: Nope, I think that about covers it.

I: Well, thanks for taking the time to talk with me today. I really appreciate it.
