On Monday, the Potsdam Police Department had additional officers on duty cracking down on traffic
offenses as part of the national Click It or Ticket Campaign using funding from Gov. Andrew M. Cuomos
Traffic Safety Committee and the Police Traffic Services grant. The Click It or Ticket Campaign started
May 22nd and continues through June 4th this year. On Monday, the following motorists were charged
related to the effort.
Narrative The above listed subject was issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket after
patrol observed the subject operating a vehicle on Market Street
without wearing a seat belt.
Narrative The above listed subject was issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket after
patrol observed the subject operating a vehicle on Pine Street,
without wearing a seat belt. A traffic stop also revealed the
suspect to be in possession of a suspended NYS Drivers License.

patrol observed the subject traveling West on Main Street while
using a mobile phone.

excessively dark tinted windows, only allowing 18% light
transmission.

patrol observed the subject traveling on Sandstone Drive pass
through a steady red light.
Narrative The above listed subject was issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket after
patrol observed the subject traveling on Sandstone drive at a
high rate of speed. Radar confirmed the speed of the vehicle to
be 46 MPH in a listed 30 MPH zone.

high rate of speed. Radar confirmed the speed of the vehicle to
be 56 MPH in a listed 30 MPH zone.
