I am interested in the internship program because I would like to to gain
the skills and experiences of working in a global corporate business and
also be a part of the world changing projects that IBM is working on. Ive
also read that IBM will challenge the interns and stretch their ability which
is what I would love to experience because I see it as one of the fastest
way to grow. I also want to experience the culture, values and
environment that IBM has to offer.

Why do you want to work for IBM?

I want to work for IBM because IBM is the Worlds largest business
consulting, technology and Services Company that creates new innovative
amazing technology such as Watson. After learning about what Watson is
and how it works, I was so impressed about how it is able to process data
and information with cognitive abilities which lead me to follow IBMs
social media to stay update with its new technology. Also to be able to
work for a company and be apart of developing incredible projects like
these would only fuel my passion in the technical industry.

Past IBM question: Why did you choose your particular degree?
This focuses on your interests, career aspirations and the motivation
behind them. If you studied something unrelated, such as geography, and
has only chosen to look into the technology industry since starting
university, explain what made you choose your degree originally and what
made you decide to change your focus.

I chose my degree because Ive always been interested in technology and

business and this course was the perfect choice as it integrated both into
one.

Past IBM question: Tell me about a time when you had to

overcome a challenge?
A time where I had to overcome a challenge would have to be when I was
working in the grocery department of Coles one night and the delivery
came in late which lead to the team being behind schedule by a few
pallets. I was able to overcome this challenge by thinking of a solution
which was to allocate moving the pallet and dropping the products in the
right isle to one person while the rest of the team would only have to
stack the shelves and not move around with their own cage. This helped
with our time management and we were able to finish the deadline in
time.
