In the course of my job search, looking especially for positions related to crisis management and
public relations, I found the posting for the QC Supervisor position. I am writing today to express my
sincere interest in this position with PepsiCo. PepsiCo has been a dominate employer in the Tulsa area for
many years, something that I am sure is due to the quality of its employees. Due to the nature of my skills
in risk management, client relations, and negotiation skills, I believe that I would be uniquely qualified to
supervise the employees in the QC department. As we live in an ever-changing market, I also think that
my skills in organizational leadership and community planning could assist with growth around
operations.

After looking deeper into the operations of PepsiCo, in this area, I believe that growth is a key goal of the
company. Through strategic planning and visionary leadership, I think this goal can be easily achieved.
As I have undertaken strategic planning in many situations, this would be an area of great interest to me.
Over the last couple of years, my work with various Tulsa non-profits, including the Alzheimers
Association, F&CS and others, has given me the knowledge and ability to undertake significant strategic
planning initiatives. This personal experience will also assist with the companys goals in relation to
community development.

In the job listing it is made clear that strong communication skills, and prioritization, are highly valued
and necessary for this position. During my professional career, I have exhibited these qualities time and
time again. As President of The Board, at the bART Center for Music, I have had to evaluate and lead
many initiatives. These initiatives have required large amounts of communication with the public,
whether media representatives, or other interested parties. This specific experience has greatly increased
my skilled usage of effective communication skills.
