RESUMEN
El desayuno familiar es una de las comidas fundamentales en los estudiantes ya que los
alimentos contienen varios nutrientes importantes para el funcionamiento del cerebro en las
actividades que suelen realizar los estudiantes durante la jornada escolar, estos procesos
son: atencin, memoria y concentracin.
Estos alimentos servidos en la maana brindan al cuerpo mayor energa para rendir mejor
durante la hora clase tambin conceden la oportunidad de fabricar algunos
neurotransmisores gracias a sus componentes, logrando de esta manera mejorar la
actividad cerebral y consigo un mejor desempeo acadmico.
ABSTRACT
This research runs a dominant and qualitative approach, since it will know the relationship
between the quality of family breakfast and academic performance in children from first to
seventh year of EGB school and school Federico Engels. Given this relationship will propose
alternatives to parents, teachers and students to improve the nutritional quality of family
breakfast for better academic performance.
The level of research to be used descriptive, because facts, events and documents that help
support the research were observed.
The research is field as deepen and deduce criteria of different authors, based on
documents, books, scientific articles and other publications that help us to get more
information.
Breakfast quality can significantly affect school performance of students, this could mean a
cost of up to 15 points in the theoretical IQ. Similarly a student low income as one middle-
class has the same risk of repeating the school year. Some research has shown that it is not
so much the fact of having better economic conditions, but the way parents educate and
feed their children so that they have a good intellectual development.
The family breakfast is one of the fundamental meals in students because foods contain
several important nutrients for brain functioning in activities typically carried out by students
during the school day, these processes are: attention, memory and concentration.
When improving nutritional status also improves the balance of energy and nutrients it needs
student body during the day and undoubtedly increases their physical performance,
concentration and memory.
These foods served in the morning give the body more energy to perform better during class
time also granted the opportunity to produce some neurotransmitters thanks to its
components, thus achieving improve brain activity and get better academic performance.
research to make contributions on this issue and to somehow stop that provide guidelines for
future education and student nutrition.
