When Donald Trump announced his presidential bid last year, he quickly caught the
attention of millions for the better or worse. His rhetorical15 comments about minorities, women,
foreign affairs and the LGBT community appealed to and disgusted numerous. From a birds
point of view, it's easy to understand why the majority of Trump supporters have no college
degree and/or live in areas isolated from hispanics, blacks, and Muslims. Trump supporters only
discern the grandiloquent14 , successful side to the Republican presidential nominee. They
perceive a billionaire whos popularity in the television industry must mean he knows everything
that goes on in the world and is correct about everything. Trump has eloquence2 due to the fact
that he is a television star and knows exactly what to say to catch peoples attention to bring in
Trumps decision to prattle8 about minorities boosted his popularity instantly in the race
for the white house. As the final election is less than 80 days away, however, polls exhibit a
dramatic decline in Republican voters supporting Trump. In response to this, Trump has decided
to adjust his immigration policy and rant13 about the Democratic partys flaws (Clintons health
and her emails) to focus the negative spotlight on his competition. His colloquial7 accusations
about Hillary Clinton demonstrate his maturity level and reliability to lead a country. Trump uses
Hillary and random anecdotes to digress12 the serious topics from his speeches such as the
countrys debts, and foreign affair policies. Last month after the Republican National Convention
concluded, Trump delivered a speech in Colorado where he rambled11 about illiterate contractors
proving he is only wasting his time by running away from the real problems that face the USA
today. Trump stated, Some of the richest people in this world cant even read or write
theyre called contractors They might not read or write, but theyre a lot smarter than the guys
coming out of Harvard, let me tell you (Trump). It is with statements like those that Trump
builds a bombastic1 persona that really owns no meaning since theyre so foolish.
Many news sites have taken all this into consideration and conducted polls about whether
or not Trump appeals to bigotry. A Quinnipiac poll aimed to uncover whether or not people
agreed to this and the results are pretty straightforward. The poll aimed to diffuse10 and include
people of different ethnicities and education levels. The results showed 50% of white men and
57% of white women agreed Trump appeals to bigotry. In addition 58% of whites with a college
degree and 50% of whites without one agreed to this as well. This verbose3 poll is enough to
demonstrate even white people agree Trump dislikes minorities and is devoted to his prejudices.
Although this is obvious since Trump garrulous5 slams the same groups of people in just about
every one of his speeches, it goes a long way to prove white people have had enough of Trumps
foolishness.
Trump is a loquacious9 human being which is evident every time a reporter inquires him
with a hard question he seems to become voluble6 and blabber on about something else until he
loses the reporter and audience and saves himself from embarrassment. Trumps use of
circumlocution4 has saved him to this point in the election, but will it be enough when him and
Hillary face off face to face in the presidential debates starting September 26?
