CASE.CLOSING: On July 25, 2014, the Reporting Agent received a NASA Security Operations
Center report detailing improper Internet searching activity. The improper network activity
originated from the Headquarters (HQ) computer assigned Internet Protocol (IP) address
Several ofthe Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs) appear to contain
pornography and scarch terms commonly associated with the sexual exploitation of children,
‘The search terms include:
‘Male Ejaculation Boys
Boy Premature Ejaculation
Tiny Teen Deep Throat
On September 10, 2014, a digital media anelysis of the computer assigned IP address
‘was completed. During the examination, Interet browsing activity in violation
of NASA policy (NPD 2540.1) was found. No violation of title 18 U.S.C. 2252(6)(2) was found.
‘Asa result ofthe NPD 2540 1 policy violation a Management Referral letter was issued to NASA on
November 24, 2014. A response from NASA was received on June 11,2015. Asa result ofthe
Management Referral, NASA network access has been terminated forall IR employees,
Based on the Management Referral response, no additional investigative activity is warranted, This
