On Saturday, June 10, 2017 through Monday, June 12, 2017, the Capital Pride Alliance will
be hosting the 2017 Capital Pride Festival in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this
event, there will be several street closures that motorists should take into consideration:

Saturday, June 10, 2017 starting at 5:00pm

Pennsylvania Avenue, NW between Constitution Avenue and 3rd Street, NW


3rd Street, NW between Constitution Avenue and Madison Drive, NW

Saturday, June 10, 2017 starting at 7:00pm

Pennsylvania Avenue, NW between 7th and 3rd Streets, NW


3rd Street, NW between Constitution Avenue and Madison Drive, NW
4th Street, NW between Madison Drive and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
6th St NW between Constitution Avenue and C Street, NW (allowing access to garage)
Constitution Avenue, NW between 7th and 3rd Streets, NW (with access lane for Smithsonian /
National Gallery employees)

Streets will reopen to traffic approximately 2:00 am on Monday, June 12, 2017

All street closures and listed times are subject to change based upon prevailing or
unexpected conditions.

Motorists could encounter possible delays if operating in the vicinity of this event and may wish
to consider alternative routes. The Metropolitan Police Department and the D.C. Department of
Transportation also wishes to remind motorists in the vicinity of this event to proceed with
caution as increased pedestrian traffic can be anticipated.
