Professional Summary
I'm a political science major at Rutgers University. I've achieved mostly As and Bs in my political science
coursework. I'm happy, upbeat, love and enjoy interacting with people, and have some moderate to average acting
abilities from theatrical productions I did growing up (the last one was Shakespeare's A Winter's Tale at my high
school - Rutgers Preparatory School - in 2010) which might come in handy when it comes time to putting on a
professional demeanor with customers (and possibly even dealing with terse and testy customers) and assisting
them.

Work History
Cashier, 12/2016-4/2017
Shop Rite Skillman, NJ
Normal cashier duties, including scanning goods, asking for and encouraging use of promotional items (Price Plus Cards),
making change, and providing excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor)

Waiter, 06/2014 to 04/2015

On the Border New Brunswick, NJ
I want to preface this by saying that I was discharged from this position as a result of a mutual misunderstanding
with the managers over my catering duties, and I had arrived a few minutes late for the shift where I was let go. I waited
on tables. I also interacted with customers, dealt with problems (was able to exercise a problem solving skill-set),
and gained experience handling money (cash payments for meals) and exhibited employee spirit (frequently
"announced" birthdays at tables).
Intern, 06/2010 to 08/2010
Rush Holt (D-NJ) (Retired - office no longer extant)
Donor research (developed an analytical skill set), organizational and clerical duties around the office (developed a
sense for the flow and arrangement of a work space), and phone bank (developed interpersonal skills - scripted
phone calls from employees in political offices often don't go well, and it's fair to say it was an exercise in dealing
with people patiently and putting on a professional demeanor!)
