Bhai Jaitajee Foundation (BJF), (BJF) Delaware, U.S.A. is a

charitable institution with a mission to support high quality education for the
most talented but under privilege and poor children. In its first Project in India,
BJF is partnering with Ramanujan School of Mathematics
(RSM), Patna to fund and support successful entrants from Punjab to join
Super 30 Program of RSM that has an unmatched record in helping children
from poor families gain entrance to IIT’s.

Mr. Anand Kumar, the founder of Ramanujan School of

Mathematic, has gained National & International fame for his ‘SUPER 30’
Program (Check Super 30 of Patna on Internet) that helps very poor but
brilliant children from Bihar villages to enter IIT’s. Super 30 is a Residential
Program in Patna that provides free tuition, board & lodging to 30 students
chosen by means of rigorous screening tests. In 7 years (2003-2009),182 out of
210 Super 30 candidates got into IIT. In each of the last two years- 2008 & 2009,
30 out of 30 students cracked the IITJEE and entered IIT’s.

Besides Super 30, Target Program of RSM – a regular but

low tuition fee, non-residential Program, for local students of Patna - also aims
at helping students from poor/ low income families to enter IIT’s and NIT’s. This
program has sent more than 500 students to IIT and 2000 plus students to
National Institute of Technology ( formerly called Regional Engineering
College ) from 1996 to 2009. Students joining the Target program from Punjab
will also study in Patna but in a Residential Program along with students from
U.P., Jharkhand, Haryana & Bihar.
 Admission Tes ts on 5th June, 2010 will cover
candidates for Super-30 as well as Target Program. Final selection of the
candidates for either program made by RSM. How ever both RSM & BJF
subscribe to principle of considering (i) Academic Merit of candidate, and (ii)
Low Income/assets of Parents as selection criteria. It needs to be noted that RSM
is conducting selection tests in U.P., Haryana, Jharkhand and Punjab in addition
to Bihar for maximum of 90 seats for the Super 30 program. Number of
additional seats RSM will provide for their regular Target Program will be
decided by them later depending on qualifying tests in all states.

COST OF STUDIES OF SUCESSFUL PUNJAB CANDIDATES

UNDER SUPER 30 & TARGET PROGRAM

Bhai Jaitajee Foundation will pay directly to RSM, 100% cost of

Tuition plus Board and Lodging in Patna for entrants to Super 30 Program from
Punjab. For the Target Program, BJF will provide 100% of Tuition Fee only for
candidates selected by RSM. In providing these scholarships, weightage will be
given to the students belonging to SC/ ST Communities and to those candidates
of General Category, who comes from poor rural families of Punjab.

ORGANIZATIONAL DECIPLINE
While staying in Patna, Punjab students sponsored by BJF will be under
the organizational discipline of Ramanujan School of Mathematics.

CASH AWARD OF Rs 5100/- EACH FOR 10 TOP PERFORMERS

FROM PUNJAB IN THE ADMISSION TEST CONDUCTED BY RSM

BJF will offer 10 cash prizes of Rs. 5100/- each -- 5 for General Category
candidates & 5 for SC/ST Category candidates even if they are unable to get
qualifying marks in the tests conducted by RSM.
