Based on Training design, the implementation of the training for Creatives engineers have been
done as follows:
Introduction:
The objective of the this is to provide sufficient knowledge regarding Habitech Technology to
the engineers so that the further implementation of the training is much easier with the
understanding of the theoretical aspects.
The training is implemented by giving a short 20-minute lecture session where handouts are
provided as a guide to refer to the lecture and provide efficient training on the theoretical aspects.
This is followed up by a short discussion session where the trainees are asked to reflect what
they learned and bring up relevant issues and questions that they are confused about
2.Formation of bricks
The objective of this is to train the engineers, the proper techniques to prepare the necessary
materials, diagnose and test the materials and interpret the basic drawings.
The training is implemented with a short lecture and demonstration of the brick formation where
the proper procedures are detailed and shown properly. **
It is followed by use of real equipment as a simulation test so that the transfer of training is
highly efficient.
Addition of computer generated dynamic presentation to help the basic interpretation of drawing
is also done in this phase of training
3.Machine
The objective of this phase is to orientate the trainees on the installation and use of the
machinery and the basic guidelines and operation safety methods required to operate it.
This is implemented by a training session with addition of identical elements. In this case, the
real equipments are used so that the training is highly relatable and efficient
Research suggests that to develop this adaptive expertise, trainees should be active participants in
the learning process and learning should occur in a meaningful or relevant context (Bell &
Kozlowski, in press; Cannon-Bowers & Bowers, in press; Moreno & Mayer, 2005)
4.Construction of Bricks at different levels
The construction of bricks has 12 different levels for layering to the finishing of the bricks.
The training is implemented thorough demonstration, observation and self trial, where the
trainees are shown the installation and constructing in slow and detailed process which they
observe and apply those similar methods while trying it themselves later on in the stage
Observational learning (Bandura, 1977) has demonstrated that learning could occur through the
simple processes of observing someone else's activity. Bandura's work draws from both
behavioral and cognitive views of learning. He believes that mind, behavior and the environment
all play an important role in the learning process.
5. Constructing a house with the inter-locking bricks
The objectives of this is to help the trainees to understand how to construct a complete house
using the interlocking bricks. The engineers are trained on the application of the theory and given
proper connection if the bricks in this phase.
To implement the training, Simulation training is used after the observational phase from the
earlier one. the simulation training uses identical elements and required training tools to create a
realistic environment for the construction.
