Our Covenants
What we are promising to deliver.

4
1 Our Promise

Priority ONE
o We promise to make the
surrounding neighborhoods
the first priority in all of our
decisions.
2 Sustainability

Ensure Self-Sustaining Operation

$20,000,000
Subsidy o Goal of diminishing city
subsidy and tax payer
funding to zero in the
10th year of operation.

Year 1 Year 10
3 Signature Park

A Park for Everyone, All of the Time

o Improve and expand the
existing signature park to
create a world class public
amenity.
4 Community Connection

Neighborhood Connection
o We will reconnect the
surrounding neighborhoods
with infrastructure,
buildings, homes and
parking structures so that
the large parking lots can be
minimized.
5 Transportation

Recreate Transportation Connections

o We will create and
implement a transportation
plan that will properly
handle the large amounts of
people who come to Fair
Park using pedestrian and
bike friendly best practices,
and incentives for shuttling,
not driving.
6 Local Entrepreneurs

Inspiring Local Business

o We will use an incremental
master plan that will allow
locals new business
opportunities.
7 Year-Round Operation

Always Open
o We will collaborate with the
State Fair of Texas so that
the entire park and buildings
will be open year round.
8 Education

Work with Schools

o We will lease the buildings
to educational and arts
organizations and museums
year-round so that they can
integrate their programs
with other tenants.
9 Historic Preservation

Restore and Revitalize

o We will continue to restore
and repair the buildings, the
art and the grounds to
create a world class amenity
with a year-round draw.
10 Regular Meetings

Open Meetings
o We promise to hold regular
board/planning meetings so
that the stakeholders and
citizens of Dallas can
participate, comment and
review all of the plans,
finances and details.

14
The outcome of the world, the
entry into the super-human -
these are not thrown open to a few
of the privileged, nor to one
chosen people to the exclusion of
all others. They will open only to
an advance of all together, in a
direction in which all can join
and find completion in a spiritual
renovation of the earth.
