    Statement from Senate Democratic Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins


    on this Extraordinary Session
    One would think things in Albany couldn't get more chaotic or dysfunctional, yet it always
    seems to get worse. We once again are forced to return to the Capitol and sit around with no
    clear answers. The longer we sit here and wait for the behind-closed-doors negotiations to drag
    on and on the bigger the disservice we are doing to the people of New York. This Session should
    have been about doing our jobs and the unfinished business from the Legislative Session.
