Proficiency Test Providers

The following organizations are proficiency testing providers that have declared they are
operating a quality system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043:2010.

It is the responsibility of the accredited laboratory to determine if the particular PT

program they are interested in is accredited and / or conforms to the requirements of
ISO/IEC 17043:2010.

Applicant PT providers wishing to be added to the A-S-B PT providers list (Form 205.7)
for their publically available PT/ILC activity shall complete the Annex A - Application for
PT Provider Approval and submit to A-S-B for review and approval. Submit application
to operations@l-a-b.com

A-S-B approval of providers will be based on a review of provider processes and the
content of reports to ensure they are consistent with the intent of ISO/IEC 17043:2010.

A number of ILAC signatory Accreditation Bodies accredit PT providers to ISO/IEC

17043. These PT providers are deemed appropriate based on their accreditation status.

NMIs and Accreditation Cooperatives will, at times, sponsor ILCs (Inter-Laboratory

Comparisons) and those NMIs which are CIPM members are deemed appropriate to
conduct ILCs.

Consensus standards organizations occasionally administer or conduct ILCs at the

request of individual committees. It is each laboratorys responsibility to determine the
appropriateness of those ILCs.

Periodically, A-S-B staff will review Form 205.7, maintaining this list of PT providers
deemed appropriate for applicant and accredited laboratories.
