0.2 This Checklist comprised the normal procedures to be followed when flying the Level-D
767-300 in the flight simulator. Not required items for flight simulation are cancelled. This
Checklist does not include procedures that are being done before or after your start or finish
the actual task. Its not a to do list! Depending on different start up user settings, refer to
the Level-D 767-300 AOM for correct system operation. Therefore the Power-Up
procedure is not part of the checklist. This Checklist should be used for flight simulation
only!

RE-FUELING.......................................................................................... PERFORMED
Due to some single tank re-fueling problems, perform fueling during A/C selection in FS window.
TARNSPONDER .............................................................................................. TA / RA
Push the TCAS toggle switch on the EHSI control panel to display the TFC on EHSI.
Check status on the EADI. If A/P engaged while in the T/O mode and no other mode (LNAV & VNAV)
has been selected, the AFDS automatically enters the HDG HOLD and VERT SPEED modes!
If runway line-up or take-off clearance received switch the white anti-collision light to ON, and switch
transponder to mode-s (x-ponder to ON).
Check runway and approach sector clear of traffic if possible.
Identify the runway designator.
If take-off clearance received, switch landing lights to ON.
Advance throttles to 70% N1 then press the N1 mode button, release brakes and start the flight time
counting on the clock.
Check N1 annunciation on the EADI.
80kts call out verify THR HOLD mode.
V1, Vr, V2, positive gear-up.
Above 400ft AGL engage A/P and select LNAV or HDG SEL as required if not preselected.
Above 1000ft engage VNAV (if not preselected). If VNAV not selected set FL CH and set speed 250 or
as required.
1.8 CLIMB
The Climb Check List shall be carried out if workload allowed or latest passing 10.000ft.
From take-off up to 10.000ft perform sterile flight deck philosophy.
1.9 DESCENT
Perform Descent Check List prior TOD reached or ATC request descent. The ATIS information
should be received and the approach briefing should be done at this time.
SEAT BELT............................................................................................................. ON
Check or set switch to ON.
1.10 APPROACH
Perform the Approach Check List prior reach the initial approach point or 20NM ARC by VFR flight,
but latest after approach clearance received by ATC. Not exceed 250kts below FL100.
Perform sterile flight deck philosophy from 10.000ft until landing.
- No paperwork should be perform
- During night time dim panel lights to observe surrounding traffic
- No unessential conversation should be done
1.11 FINAL
Perform Final Checklist between 2500ft and 1000ft AGL
Example:
Wind inclination = 30
Wind velocity = 32kts
Result:
Headwind comp. = 28kts
Crosswind comp. = 16kts
This graph shows the values from above. Right data show the altitude in feet, and the lower
data show the cross weight in tons.
