0.1 General information to use the Austrian Virtual Checklist Boeing 767-300.

0.2 This Checklist comprised the normal procedures to be followed when flying the Level-D
767-300 in the flight simulator. Not required items for flight simulation are cancelled. This
Checklist does not include procedures that are being done before or after your start or finish
the actual task. Its not a to do list! Depending on different start up user settings, refer to
the Level-D 767-300 AOM for correct system operation. Therefore the Power-Up
procedure is not part of the checklist. This Checklist should be used for flight simulation
only!

The Preflight Check List has to be executed to ensure all relevant add-on software is active and
ready to perform the simulated flight in the virtual surround successful.

The entire Cockpit Preparation Check List has to be executing for initial acceptance of the aircraft
before first online flight, or if start with a cold and dark cockpit.

1.4 BEFORE ENGINE START


The Before Engine Start Check List shall be carried out before start-up and push-back clearance
received, all engine clear from ground staff received, all doors closed, cabin reported all PAX
seated, and ground equipment removed (excluding necessary ground equipment for the start-up
procedure).
The engines shall normally be started in the sequence #2 and then #1.
When N2 reach a minimum of 18% set fuel control switch to RUN and monitor EGT.
Abort the start sequence if temperature exceeds 750C during start-up (expect higher EGT during
tailwind start-up).

1.6 TAXI CHECK


Start with the Taxi Check List before or short after taxi clearance by ATC received, and all clear
signal given by the ground staff. Switch on the taxi light and release parking brake. Set engine thrust
to the minimum required for taxi, to prevent noise and jet blast damage.
During night or low visibility it is recommended to switch on the wing inspection and the runway
turnoff lights.

If take-off clearance received, switch landing lights to ON.
Advance throttles to 70% N1 then press the N1 mode button, release brakes and start the flight time
counting on the clock.
Check N1 annunciation on the EADI.
80kts call out verify THR HOLD mode.
V1, Vr, V2, positive gear-up.
Above 400ft AGL engage A/P and select LNAV or HDG SEL as required if not preselected.
Above 1000ft engage VNAV (if not preselected). If VNAV not selected set FL CH and set speed 250 or
as required.

1.8 CLIMB
The Climb Check List shall be carried out if workload allowed or latest passing 10.000ft.
From take-off up to 10.000ft perform sterile flight deck philosophy.

1.10 APPROACH
Perform the Approach Check List prior reach the initial approach point or 20NM ARC by VFR flight,
but latest after approach clearance received by ATC. Not exceed 250kts below FL100.
Perform sterile flight deck philosophy from 10.000ft until landing.
