HomeStop is a complete home solution chain offering design, style, quality, convenience and
value to the consumer. HomeStop provides high quality products required for homes with a
deeper product assortment. HomeStop, the first of its kind of premium home concept store
from Shoppers Stop Ltd. is the destination to transform your dream house into a reality. It offers
a choicest range of home products to give your house that unique look and feel you always
wanted.

From the kitchen to the dining room, the bathroom to the drawing room, HomeStop has
everything that will add a special touch and exclusivity to your space. It is one-stop-shop for
all your home needs ranging from home decor to furniture & recliners, bath accessories to
bedroom furnishings, mattress to draperies, carpets, kitchen gadgets accessories and appliances
to modular kitchen and anything else one can think of.

HomeStop houses some of the most reputed national and international brands under one roof
viz. Back to earth a brand with natural and earth friendly products, fragrance spa collection
from Soulflower, cookware from Wonderchef & Bergner, High end crockery from Corelle,
Oxo from USA, exclusive down feather pillows and fine bedding, bed linen and furnishing
from Ivy, Esprit, Spread , Ddecor, Maisha, Portico, Bombay Dyeing and home appliances from

Crossword aims to be a point of cultural and social interaction where authors and poets
hold court, where children are regaled, where people gravitate to be informed, to be entertained,
even enlightened. The name embodies the vision of Crossword as a place and space for people
who seek information, knowledge or just the pleasure of reading. Crossword stocks the widest
range of Books Movies- Music- Toys- Stationery- Magazines and CD ROMs.
With its large childrens section and its focus on making the store a friendly, safe, fun-filled
place, Crossword attracts many families who normally dont think of visiting bookstores.
Facilities like the Crossword Gift Vouchers, the friendly Return, Exchange & Refunds policy,
the Cafes within the stores and the unique store experience make it easy and enjoyable for
customers to shop at Crossword. Over 3 lacs loyal customers are rewarded through the

When Este Lauder established her beauty business in 1946, she had four products and
a mission to show as many women as I can reach not only how to be beautiful but stay
beautiful. Over 60 years later, Este Lauder, the flagship brand of The Estee Lauder
Companies Inc., has fulfilled countless womens dreams to look and feel beautiful. The brand
is a global leader in skincare, makeup and fragrance and is renowned for high-quality,
innovative and technologically advanced products.
Este Lauder currently has seven freestanding stores in India located in Mumbai in the
Palladium at Lower Parel, Kolkata, New Delhi at Select City Walk, Saket and UB City in
Bangalore. In Addition we have Este Lauder counters two in Shoppers Stop New Delhi at
Ambience Mall- Vasant Kunj and Inorbit Mall, Malad. All locations feature the brands best
selling products around the globe as well as products chosen specifically for Indian consumers.
Key global products include Este Lauders Re-Nutriv luxury skin care line, Time Zone and
Perfectionist CP+. Iconic products such as Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery
Complex, Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation and fragrances including Este Lauders
classic range of Private Collection perfumes, Pleasures and Pure White Linen are all available
in India.

5. MAC
MAC (Make-up Art Cosmetics), a leading brand of professional cosmetics, was
created in Toronto, Canada in 1984 to support the special needs of professional makeup artists
a collection of colors, products and tools that meet the demanding lighting and studio
conditions under which the pros work. The companys popularity has grown through a tradition
of word-of-mouth endorsement from makeup artists, models, photographers and journalists
around the world. MAC opened its first location in India in 2005 and is now available in 40
(Forty) stores nation-wide. The MAC attitude is best expressed by our artists, seen and felt
in our stores and accessed through our website www.maccosmetics.in.

6. BOBBI BROWN
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is an exclusive makeup line developed by celebrated makeup
artist, Bobbi Brown, was acquired by The Este Lauder Companies in 1995.
The brand is positioned worldwide in upper premium/prestige segment. It is sold in 56
countries and territories at select retailers.

The brand focuses on service and teaching women how to look and feel like themselves, only
prettier and more confident.

Bobbi Brown is a straightforward, easy-to-use cosmetics in timeless hues, all formulated to


create a smooth, natural, and healthy appearance.

We have launched Bobbi Brown in India with its 1st door at Select City Walk Mall in New
Delhi, 2nd door at Ambiance Mall, Gurgaon and 3rd at Vasant Kunj Ambience Mall, Delhi,
4th at Palladium, Mumbai and 5th at DLF Mall of India, Noida.

7. Clinique
Great Skin Can Be Created
In 1967, Carol Phillips had been an editor at Vogue magazine for more than 25 years.
Always looking to provide extra service to her readers. Carol had met with Dr. Norman
Orentreich for an article entitled Can Great Skin Be Created? At the time the predominant
attitude toward skincare was to cover rather than care. This groundbreaking article actually
helped transform the beauty industry; telling people that great skin actually could be created
with the proper products and care. Soon after the article was published she and Dr. Orentreich
were challenged by Leonard Lauder to create a Allergy Tested, 100% Fragrance Free line of
skin care customized for peoples specific needs. The result was Clinique which was based
upon the groundbreaking 3-Step Skin Care System.
Clinique operates twenty six stores in India today; We have twelve freestanding stores
in: Delhi select city walk Saket , Gurgaon, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Mumbai Palladium Mall, R
City Ghatkoper,Market City Pune, Koregaon Park Pune, Surat, MG 1 Bangalore, Kolkata,
SouthCity Kolkata and Phoenix Market City Velachery chennai. In Addition we have Clinique
counters in Shoppers stop Inorbit Mall Malad, Andheri, Juhu, Garuda Mall Bangalore,
Whitefield Bangalore, Vasant Kunj New Delhi, Rajouri Delhi, Noida, GVK Hyderabad and
Elgin Road Kolkata. Every Clinique counter and store offers Free skincare and make up
consultations as well as a range of Dermatologist developed, allergy tested, 100% fragrance
free products custom fit to the Indian skin needs for both Male and Female.

8. NUANCE GROUP
The Nuance Group - one of the leading airport retailers in the world and Shoppers Stop
Ltd. - one of India's leading retailers have formed a Joint Venture called Nuance Group India
Pvt. Ltd. (NGIPL), which operates the Duty Free stores at Bangalore International Airport.

9. TIME ZONE
Timezone is a leading chain of Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) offering popular
and latest interactive entertainment for all age groups which includes Video, Redemption,
Vending and Attraction games. Timezone currently operates 220+ FECs across 7 countries -
Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines and India.
Shoppers Stop Ltd. and LAI of Australia are the Joint venture partners of Timezone
Entertainment Pvt Ltd in India.

10. Hypercity
Hypercity provides a truly international shopping experience, where customers can shop in
comfort in a large, modern, and exciting environment. It offers a wide and contemporary range
of innovative products, sourced from both local and international markets.

The product range varies from Foods, Homeware, Home Entertainment, Hi-Tech, Appliances,
Furniture, Sports, Toys & Clothing. The first Hypercity store opened in Mumbai in May, 2006,
spread over 120,000 sq.ft. of retail space.

Besides introducing several firsts to Indian retailing, Hypercity has an exclusive supply
agreement with Waitrose, a top supermarket supermarket chain in U.K. and an exclusive
arrangement with Raleigh Cycles for India.

THE FOUNDATION OF SHOPPERS STOP was laid on October 27, 1991, by the K. Raheja Corp.
group of comapanies. Being amongst India's biggest hospitality and real estate players, the
Group crossed yet another milestone with its lifestyle venture

FROM INCEPTION, SHOPPERS STOP has progressed from being a single brand shop to becoming a
Fashion & Lifestyle store for the family. Today, Shoppers stop is a household name, known for its

Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Hyderabad (4 stores), Indore, Jaipur (2 stores), Kolkata (3 stores), Latur,

2010

Expanded footprints to new cities like Bhopal, Amritsar and Aurangabad. Shoppers Stop also
added stores in existing cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai and Hyderabad taking store tally to 36
stores .The Company upped its stake in Hypercity Retail (India) Limited to 51%.

2009

Pioneered mascot licensing in the categories through our exclusive tie-up for certain products
with Vodafone for their popular brand mascot Zoozoo.

2008

Shoppers Stop repositioned and reinvented as a bridge to luxury brand with the unveiling of the
new logo and tagline, "START SOMETHING NEW".

Shoppers Stop was awarded the Emerging market retailer of the Year at the World Retail
congress in April 2008 .Mr. B.S Nagesh inducted into the World Retail Hall of Fame at the World
Retail Congress in Barcelona.

2007

Gold Shield Award for excellence in Financial reporting for the year 2006 in the category of
"Manufacturing & trading Enterprises" by ICAI .Acquired 19% stake in Hypercity Retail (India) Ltd.

Signed a 50:50 Joint Venture with the Nuance Group for Airport Retailing .Signed an MOU with
the Home Retail Group of UK to enter into a franchise arrangement for the Argos formats of
catalogue & internet retailing.

2006

Opened out twenty first (Mumbai) and twenty second store in Lucknow .Launched Mothercare in
India and our F & B outlets Brio & Desi Caf. Bought 45% of Timezone India

2005

Company's Initial Public Offering (IPO) oversubscribed overall by 17.25 times. Crossword
becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Opened our seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth & twentieth stores in Pune, Juhu Mumbai,
Bangalore & Ghaziabad .Launched M.A.C & Homestop our home store.

2004

Opened our fourteenth, fifteenth & sixteenth stores in Malad Mumbai, Kolkata & Bangalore

Opened the eleventh, twelfth & thirteenth stores in Mulund Mumbai, Gurgaon & Kolkata

Mr. C. L. Raheja
Chairman and Non-Executive Director
Mr. C. L. Raheja, 77, is the Chairman and Non-Executive Director of our Company. He is a law
graduate from Mumbai. Mr. Raheja has extensive experience with the real estate, hospitality and
retail industries across India. He has been involved in real estate development for more than four
decades. Under his leadership, K. Raheja Corp Group has built residential and commercial
buildings, hotels and malls throughout India. His vision and foresight enabled K, Raheja Corp to
develop Mindspace, an integrated township, with commercial, retail and residential developments
at Malad, Mumbai. Similar developments are now being carried out in Hyderabad, Pune,
Bangalore, Chennai and other cities across India.

Mr. Ravi C. Raheja


Non-Executive Director
Mr. Ravi Raheja, 45, an Entrepreneur and an MBA from the London Business School, has 23 years of
comprehensive experience across real estate, retail and hospitality, right from the grassroots level to the C-
suite. His multivariate experience and an inherent acumen for judging correctly has led him to spearhead
business development for the Real Estate arm of K- Raheja Corp. Group, and take it to greater heights. He also
plays a key role in guiding the teams of finance, corporate strategy and planning, for the retail and hospitality
divisions of the Company. A respected name in India Inc., Ravi is an active contributor to the industry through
premier forums such as Indian Green Building Council, where he serves as the Chairman (Mumbai chapter),
and is also a member of the World Economic Forum. Known for his benevolence and an innate need to give
back to the society, Ravi plays a key role in the groups philanthropic initiatives through K. Raheja Foundation,
Sadhana Education Society and S. L. Raheja Hospital. Having built an excellent foundation, Mr. Raheja
spearheads the next phase of growth for the Group.

Mr. Neel C.Raheja


Non-Executive Director
Mr. Neel Raheja, 44, an Entrepreneur, is a Post graduate in Commerce from Mumbai University with a major in
Finance & Economics. He also holds a Degree in Law and has successfully completed the Owner/President
Management Program from Harvard Business School, Boston, U.S.A. Over the last 23 years, he has been actively
involved with K. Raheja Corp. Groups business which ranges from real estate development to retailing, malls,
hotels and infrastructure. As a Group President, he has spearheaded Hotel business development and growth,
and has been instrumental in setting up premium Hotels such as Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention
Centre, J W Marriott Hotel, Juhu; Marriott Executive Apartments, Powai, Whitefield Marriott, Bengaluru; Four
Points by Sheraton, Vashi, Navi Mumbai and Westin, Hyderabad. On the Retail side, he has been instrumental
in establishing brands like Shoppers Stop, Inorbit Malls and HyperCity. He is also spearheading the spread of
setting up of Mindspace brand of IT Parks on pan-India basis the one set up and operational in Malad, Mumbai
is a household name and the most sought after destination among IT Majors. A similar project is underway in
Hyderabad and Airoli, Navi Mumbai.

Mr. B. S. Nagesh
Customer Care Associate, Vice Chairman and Non-Executive Director
Mr. B. S. Nagesh, 58, is the Vice Chairman and Non-Executive Director of our Company. Mr. B.S. Nagesh is the
Founder of a Public Charitable Trust TRRAIN (Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India) and a not for
profit company called TRRAIN Foundation. TRRAIN has a vision of Empowering people in Retail with a
mission of upgrading the lives of people in retail both at work and home. TRRAIN has successfully
conceptualized and implemented two global events; Retail Employees Day celebration on 12th December and
TRRAIN Retail Awards for customer service excellence. In the last 5 years it has created livelihood for more
than 3,500 disabled youth and skilled more than 20,000 youth in retail.

He has been involved with Shoppers Stop and its group companies since its inception in 1991 as its first
employee. He stepped out of the day-to-day roles of the business as Managing Director in the year 2009. He is
currently the Vice Chairman and Non Executive Director of the Company.

Mr. Nagesh has been recognized as an iconic retailer and was inducted into the World Retail Hall of Fame 2008
at the World Retail Congress 2008 conducted in Barcelona. With his induction in the World Retail Hall of Fame
2008, Mr. Nagesh is the only Indian retailer and the first Asian retailer to take a significant place alongside
more than 100 stalwarts of the global retail industry.

Mr. Nagesh is the Founder Chairman of RAI (Retailers Association of India). He is on the Board of IGDS, a global
association of department stores, and the Vice-President for Asia, for IGDS.
Prof. Nitin J. Sanghavi
Independent and Non-Executive Director
Prof. Nitin J. Sanghavi, 68, is an Independent and Non-Executive Director of our Company. He
holds Bachelors from Saurashtra University, Masters and PhD from The University of
Manchester. He is a Professor of Retail Marketing and Strategy at Manchester Business School,
The University of Manchester. He brings to our Board immense wisdom as an educator and
experience in retailing of over 32 years.

He has held senior positions in buying, merchandising, operations and commercial areas for
major organizations in UK and overseas. Since joining MBS he has directed and taught on many
executive programmes for major retail and related organizations as well as FMCG organization
and financial institutions from UK, USA, Asia and Middle East.

He has also held a number of visiting appointments at universities around the world, including
Japan, Australia, France, Switzerland, Spain; as well as Visiting Scholar/Professor at Harvard
Business School and now at IIMA and Great Lakes Institute of Management in India, and is a
frequent speaker at several national and international conferences. He also acts as a strategic
advisor to the boards of many blue-chip retail organizations in UK, USA, Europe, Middle East and
India. He has also been advisor to the British Council and Commonwealth Secretariat and Special
Advisor to the World Bank on Retailing. He was given the Retail Leadership Award and an award
for Retail Excellence by the Asia Retail Congress and was presented with the Glory of India
Award by Indo-British Society for outstanding contribution to both countries.

Mr. Deepak Ghaisas


Independent and Non-Executive Director
Mr. Deepak Ghaisas, 59, is an Independent and Non-Executive Director of our Company. He is a
qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Company Secretary. He leads strategy
development, visioning and conceptualisation of breakthrough business models for Gencoval
Group, his new venture in Healthcare and Bio Tech. Prior to Gencoval, he has served as the Vice
Chairman of Oracle Financial Services Software Limited (formerly known as i-Flex Solutions
Limited, India). It was his strategic, financial and operational acumen that drove the company into
a true Indian multinational. Mr. Ghaisas is the first Indian CFO to be felicitated with the
prestigious CFO Asia award.
Mr. Nirvik Singh

Mr. Nirvik Singh, 53, is an Independent and Non-Executive Director of our Company. He is a post
graduate from St. Xaviers College, Kolkata. Mr. Singh brings to our board his keen sense of
marketing communications. Mr. Singh is a marketing and communication industry veteran and has been in
the business for over 28 years. He is currently Chairman & CEO of Grey Group Asia Pacific, Middle East and
Africa, a leading global marketing communications network. He has been credited with Greys growth in the
region. His highly-regarded business acumen has led to numerous acquisitions by the Grey network in various
countries including China, India and Korea to name a few. He has also expanded the geographic footprint of
the company by establishing Greys presence in Vietnam, Nigeria and Ghana. He oversees a network of over
2000 professionals across 22 countries in 27 cities.

Ms. Abanti Sankaranarayanan


Independent and Non - Executive Director
Ms. Abanti Sankaranarayanan, 47, is an Independent and Non-Executive Director of our
Company. She is an Economics Graduate from St. Stephens College, Delhi and an MBA from Indian Institute
of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, leads the Strategy and Corporate Affairs functions at United Spirits a
Diageo Group Company, and a member of its 8-member Executive Committee. She is responsible for providing
strategic direction and strengthening the infrastructure powering the companys business operations. During
Diageos integration with USL, she was responsible for the creation of a center of luxury excellence,
established to enhance the combined organisations luxury brand leadership. Abanti also leads the Corporate
Relations function set up to drive USLs leadership on Public Policy, Regulatory, Tax & Trade affairs, Alcohol
Policy, Corporate & Brand Reputation, and Sustainability & Responsibility.

Abanti has an outstanding track record of over 20 years in the consumer industry. Prior to her current role at
USL, Abanti lead Diageos ambitious business mandate for international spirits in India as Managing Director
of Diageo India. Under her leadership, Diageos brand portfolio in India delivered strong double digit growth
and high market share gains coupled with robust equity results.
Prior to Diageo, from 1992, Abanti served as a member of the Tata Administrative Service (TAS) cadre in an
illustrious career where she held key roles managing some of the best known consumer brands of the Tata
Group in India, United Kingdom and the United States.

Her contribution to the business have been recognized by Fortune India (The Most Powerful Women in
Business; 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016), India Today (Indias 25 Most Influential Women, 2013) and Fast
Company, New York (100 Most Creative People in Business, 2012).

Mr. Manish Chokhani


Independent and Non - Executive Director
Mr. Chokhani, 50 is an Independent and Non-Executive Director of our Company. A Chartered
Accountant and MBA from the London Business School, Manish is one of Indias most respected
investors and financial experts.

From 2006 to 2011, he was MD & CEO of Enam Securities, India's leading investment band and
led its $400 million merger in 2011 with Axis Bank to create Axis Capital Ltd., which he led as
MD & CEO until end of 2013. During his leadership tenure, Enam & Axis mobilized ~25% of all
equity funds raised in India.

From 2014 to 2016, he served as Chairman of TPG Growth - India and is currently a Senior
Advisor to TPG Group, one of the world's largest PE firms.

He serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Zee Entertainment, Westlife Development,


Shoppers Stop, Axis Capital and Laxmi Organic. He also serves on the Governing Board of Flame
University.

He is deeply involved in building a number of new businesses including GIH AG/ Livinguard, a disinfectant
technology company based in Switzerland. He is a key investor in and mentor to Athena Life Sciences,
Landmark Group, and Lenskart among others.

Mr. Chokhani is a member of SEBIs Alternative Investment Policy Advisory Committee. He is also an active
member of the Young Presidents Organization, a Fellow of the All India Management Association and has
served three terms as Co-Chairman of the Capital Markets Committee at the IMC.
He has been a visiting faculty member at IIM-Kozhikode and has served on the International Alumni Board and
scholarship panels of the London Business School.

He practices Vipassana meditation, is a trained singer and enjoys travel, painting, reading, cricket and tennis.

Mr. Gareth Thomas


Independent and Non-Executive Director
Mr. Gareth Thomas, 60, is an Independent and Non-Executive Director of our Company. He holds
an Honours Degree in Law from the University of Wales. For the decade up until 2010 he was
Retail Director of John Lewis, before retiring after a 30 year career with the John Lewis
Partnership. He is now a Trustee for the Tate Galleries and the American Museum in Britain. He is
Chairman of Countrywide Farmers plc and Waterside Holiday Group Ltd, and he is also a Non-Executive
Director on the Boards of the Co-operative Group and Share plc Group.

Mr. Govind Shrikhande


Customer Care Associate & Managing Director
Mr. Govind Shrikhande, 56, is the Managing Director of our Company. He is a graduate of
Technology from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, and is a management
graduate from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.

Mr. Shrikhande has been with our Company for more than sixteen years and has played a key role
in our Companys growth from 7 stores in 2001 to 96 stores (including HomeStop stores) till
date. He was also instrumental in re-branding initiative of the Department Store format
Shoppers Stop in the year 2008, which reinvigorated the brand market positioning, product and
service offerings.
Mr. Shrikhandes strong performance as head of Shoppers Stop, his passion for developing
innovative products and services, and his emphasis on creating an enjoyable workplace for
employees was recognised in 2009 with the prestigious Clothing Manufacturers of India Retail
Professional of The Year Award and the Most Admired Fashion Retail Professional of the Year
Award at the IFA 2010. Before joining Shoppers Stop, Mr. Shrikhande spent more than 16 years
working in leading textile and apparel companies, such as Mafatlal, Arvind, Arrow and Bombay
Dyeing. His most exciting projects include being a member of the marketing team that created
the Denim Revolution in India in the 90s and helping to make Arrow the No.1 shirt brand in
Indias premium category.
