Abstract : Multi2layer p ressure vessel is o ne of t he widely used p ressure vessels fo r sto ring high2p ressure
hydrogen and nit rogen. It is used in pet rochemical indust ry. Pressure vessels wit h inner insulatio n are mianly used
as equip ment fo r catalyst regeneration , which is t he key facility in refinery. The characteristics of multi2layer
p ressure vessel and p ressure vessels wit h inner insulatio n and t heir nondest ructive testing met hods during t heir
fabrication and operation are reviewed. The applied nondestructive testing ( ND T) methods include radiographic testing ,
ult rasonic testing , magnetic particle testing , penet rant testing , inf rared testing and aco ustic emissio n testing.
