was relating a request from Emin, e person I knew from the 2013 Ms' Universe Pageant near Moscow.
Emin and his father have a very highly respected compny in Moscow. The information thcy suggested
they had about Hillary Clinton I thought was Politlcal Opposition Research. I first wanted to just havc a
phone call but when that didn't work out, they said the wornan would be in New York and asked if I
would meet. I decided to take the meetng. The woman, as she has said publicly, wes not a government
official. And, as we have said, she had no information to provide and wanted to talk ebout adoption
pollcy and the MagniBky Act, To put this ln context, thls occurrcd bebre the current Russlan fever we
ln vogue. As Rob Goldstone sald just today ln the press, the entire meetlng was "the most lnane
nonsense lever heard. And I was actually agtated by it"
