The course aims to assist participants to:
Inspire self-directed investigation.
Expand their individual knowledge through proposal and critique.
Practise the research of more effective method in Electrical System or the
research of Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
Encourage diverse proposition in response to Electrical System but within
regulations parameters.
Improve their writing skills especially in Technical English.
Improve their skills in using computers and audio visual aids during the
development and presentation of the project.
Electrical specify planning works has typically include site visit, load calculation,
calculation of space, plan & schematic drawings, assembly cost calculation,
calculation of labour/manpower and installation costing as well as wiring to be
installed. Electrical competency installation requires supervisory elements of a
competent person such as the release of the Energy Commission of PW2, PW4,
Chargeman and so on. These courses focus on the verification activities of the
electrical installation as described above. Students are required to make a
paper works for before the installation.
