Part II: Reflection

CANDIDATE REFLECTIONS:
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1. Briefly describe the field experience. What did you learn about technology facilitation and
leadership from completing this field experience?
During this FE, I analyzed data re: ELA/Reading achievement at Crabapple Crossing elementary
school.
I learned that the facilitation of technology use in schools can be directly supportive of our work
towards data literacy and increased achievement.
2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you
be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs, enthusiasm) required of a technology
facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected in Part I. Use the
language of the PSC standards in your answer and reflect on all 3knowledge, skills, and
dispositions.)
The knowledge, skills, and dispositions required of a technology leader cannot be separated from
that of a data leader. By modeling the effective use of digital tools to collect, and analyze data,
and suggesting instructional interventions to impact student achievement were highlighted in the
Data Overview, Action Plan I and II

3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or
student learning at your school. How can the impact be assessed?

The submission of this Data Overview, and Action Plan to Crabapple Crossing Elementary School
will impact future focus not just in school improvement, but in professional development, strategic
staffing, and future goal setting.
