Role Definition
Involve in the complete life cycle of development of custom reports based upon the Pharmacovigilance / Drug
Safety Adverse Event Reporting Systems at Pharmaceutical companies which includes the analysis of Business and
Functional requirements, solution designing, development, unit testing, deployment and post production support
of custom reports developed using third party reporting tools like Business Objects, Cognos, OBIEEE and Jreport.

Education & Other Qualifications

BE/ME/MCA/MCS/MSc degree from reputed Institute/University

Experience & Salary

Overall 2 to 6 years of experience

Job Duties
Key components of the responsibilities are as mentioned below:
Ability to understand the business requirements and make quick solution
Writing report specifications incl. UI design
Low level design
Report development
Testing Functional and Performance

Work independently without much guidance on the development of DW components

Essentials
1 to 5 years of professional experience, working on Reporting tools like Business Objects/Cognos/OBIEE
Experience in Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Skills, Tools.
Knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator & Oracle Business Intelligence, BO XI, Crystal Reports and/or Cognos
Strong Oracle SQL knowledge
Should have exposure to at-least one ETL tool and one Reporting tool.
Productive knowledge of one or more Data warehousing implementation
Should have strong problem solving ability , be a quick learner and a good team player

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with Drug Safety Products from Aris Global/Oracle ArisG/Argus or associated modules like
Exchange/ESM or Safety Mart/Insight
Knowledge of regulatory guidelines from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and EMEA
Hands-on experience on testing tools like HP Quality Center
Understanding of RDBMS concepts and working knowledge of writing SQL queries
