PREFACE
The administration and management is the most important that must have in each of
organization. Even small organizations or company need to have proper administrative and
management to keep it more organize, efficient and more standard. In this furious
informative era, the administration and management had been transformed with the new
technology that would make the administration and management are more easy, faster and
convenient. It will be continue changing with the time passing every second.
To achieve a career, the students need to undergo the internship period during the
studies period. In MCS College, students need to go for the internship program at 5th
Semester about 20 weeks. The main objective is to exposed the student with the real work
environment, gaining new knowledge and experience and also applying all the theory that
have been teach by lecturer. I am have undergo the internship period at Zeripharm Sdn Bhd.
Most of the work done are regarding with the system that are included data key in, join the
program and communicate with client and staff, learn the types of color paper and learn the
system of updating file. After the training period, students will become more knowledgeable,

2.1 INTRODUCTION
A person employed in an office or bank to keep records and accounts and to undertake
other routine administrative duties. Works in an office performing such tasks as keeping
records, attending to correspondence, or filing. Department clerks, more often called general
office clerks or simply clerks, handle the administrative tasks that keep a business running.
They answer phones, run errands, order supplies, write and mail correspondence and use
office machines such as copiers and fax machines. Their tasks and salaries vary according to

communication, customer service, organization and computers. They are usually trained on
training in business practices or software use is also available in community colleges and
several clerks.

As already stated, every student training has been placed under the supervision of each
and my throat is placed under the supervision of Mr. Mohd Zul Efendi from 2 June 2016 until
4 November 2016 at the Company named Zeripharm Sdn Bhd about 4 half months. My
training as an office admin in the course Diploma of Office Administration was placed in the
field and gain as much knowledge about the management nowadays. Besides that, I also
learned about my management of the Office of Management. During a training session, I have
learned and gained a lot of knowledge about the Management duties in the Office.

also develop my communication skills and interpersonal skills with people at the top. In
addition, I also learned about psychology. By knowing a little knowledge in the field of
psychology that I learned during a training session will help me understand myself, which
would cause mental damage whether signs of mental problems, and how to avoid going to

2.2.1 Filling
Before begin to enter any document into a file, Mr.Zul Efendi will teach me first how
to arrange any document according to the existing arrangement, because this is a new
company, so its have a lot of document that I need to manage that necessarily takes a few
weeks or maybe a month to finished all of this document that already given by mr. Zul Efendi
to me, I also learn how to know the different between invoice and invoice supplier, also how
to put any bills including their date. Also, a few document need to arrange according date but
start from first month and the latest is the last month, it makes easy to find one day, If needed.

I also learn how to arrange the file in the closet including their name or categories,
every file I already make a labelling, so it makes us become easy and save time to find any
document without need to open one by one of file and makes the employee didnt take a long
time to find any document if asked by boss. About the bills, if have any bills already arrived. I
need to give to my boss first before put in the utilities bills, I sometimes asked by boss to pay
any bills at the nearby bank. So, its give me the experience the way how to pay any bills at
I also learn how to set up the event before start. We need to do some meeting and
explain what product that we selling, the introduction and also the ingredient the make us
more understand about the product and easy to explain to customer. Have a part when we do a
question and answer to make us more understand without any doubt. In event, I also learn
about the way how to communicate with customer, the important of eye contact and selling
strategy. I also meet many people, multiracial but still respect each other and respectful every
idea of them. Before that, we need to do double check any stuff to make sure no items left
behind before moving to event and dont have any mistakes when doing preparation.
At office, my boss asked me that I am more focused on using the computer because I
need to reply any e-mail or massage from client/customer at Office Outlook. I also need to do
a claim form at Microsoft excel, the more knowledge that I learn about how to use these
Microsoft. When any have task my boss, more often send to me any assignment using
gmail.com that easy to me just edit any put the details as requested and sending back when
task complete.

2.3 Evaluations
During entire of my training in Zeripharm Sdn Bhd, I have made observations from
every of aspects such as their working skill, communications, and all the facilities that had
been provided. From facilities aspect this division had providing lot of facilities that are useful
to complete their job and help in release their stress. The social interaction in division
working environment are too good which everyone communicate to each other with positive
language and positive mind. From working aspect they are so responsible toward their job and
The employee must inculcate in their self to become more punctual in every affair.
Such as, come to work place early than boss, or early in 30 minutes, also punctual to prepare
each assignment or document that already given by boss on time. The most important is every
staff must always be a discipline and neat attitude so they will see us as a dedicated and
efficient employees. Working in a safe condition will launch comfort in our body to perform
At workplace, we also need to learn about how to safe our self if have any emergency
case. So, the careful step is we need to put a first aid at office, also the fire extinguisher safe
measures in case of fire. Emergency alarm also play an important role to inform to public that
we are in an emergency. So, all safety work can be carried out smoothly and did not take a
long time.

2.4 Recommendations
Based on the evaluation and my opinion during my practical in Zeripharm Sdn Bhd
there is still need to improve to motivate employee to be more discipline while doing work,
the easy step is, the employer need to put the words of wisdom that can raise employee
morale to work more well. These company also need to put more effort to invent
advertisements about vacant positions at this company, since no employees at this company.
Difficult to me too handle any of work in any parts, like doing things that run of course I'm
learning in college.
Not only have that, this company also needed to have a security guard to monitor the
safety of employees in the company as too many sellers who want to sell their goods on the
workers, regardless of our work. At times, they forced us to buy their stuff. We didnt feel
safe anymore if this company dont find a security guard to control people coming in and out.
In addition, every worker need to follow the rules of the workplace. Such as, keep
aisles clear, report accident, wear safety equipment, keep work area clean, report immediately
any unsafe condition, lift properly, place trash and paper in proper containers and wear
appropriate attire and the goals is every workers should keep the dress and appearance
because they lead the company's image wherever they go and if want to be a best employee
they need to bring a note book to write down any task or any important information that

2.5 Conclusion
Work at Zeripharm Sdn Bhd for 4 months, I have learned a lot of cases, such as paper
updates fail, using the machines photocopy, handle the boss meeting, represented in the
program and meet client boss. This learning will be useful in the time before.
In addition, all my duties at the Zeripharm Sdn Bhd has been successfully doing well
