Responsibilities:
Plan and manage WASH programs in a phased and prioritized manner
with full consultation and co-ordination with International Medical
Corps staff and other agencies both governmental and non-
governmental.
Conduct and design rapid and need assessments of current situation,
determining priorities and immediate activities and resources.
Ensure quality implementation of defined aims and objectives of the
overall WASH response program.
Ensuring appropriate operation of sanitation system (including excreta
disposal, vector control, solid waste disposal, drainage and medical
waste management) taking full account of local conditions, resources,
customs and cultural norms.
Defining in collaboration with other actors, a suitable hygiene
promotion strategy for camp and host community contexts.
Manage the wash program in Camps of Bab ALsalameh & Bab AlNour
through direct management and field visits , and remote manage the
wash programs for the host communities of Northern Syria.
Ensuring Sphere standards both qualitative and quantitative are
considered and any departures documented.
Developing letters of intent, concept papers, budgets and proposals in
respect of the above.
Designing monitoring and evaluation system for wash interventions.
Representing International Medical Corps in coordination meetings
